Very clean and tidy. The bathroom was cleaner than the five star resort I stayed at in Dubrovnik. Friendly staff. Mall across the street with a huge grocery store. Breakfast buffet was ok but cappuccino and a variety of items made to order were very good. Btw, this a la carte menu is included in breakfast price. Roof top is nice . The front desk recommended a restaurant for delivery as I did not have local Food delivery app. And the pizza was good and only 10 euro . They did not charge me for delivery. The hotel is 5-6 min drive from old town and marina but it is not too expensive to take an uber.

We stayed here to kick off our honeymoon and were absolutely blown away. The overabundant and attentive service and comfort were incredible--the breakfast (the most magical breakfast I've experienced), free spa services, and pool bar were second to none and made the hotel the ideal retreat to head back to after a day of exploration.

Every uber driver will tell you that it’s the tallest building in Croatia. People in split take pride in that fact and love to boast that they have one up over Zagreb. The hotel is great and you get fantastic views.

FAQs about hotels in Split

The Sunny Side of Croatia

Stunning Split stands proudly on the eastern shores of the Adriatic Sea, and due to its great climate is called the Mediterranean Flower. It features eclectic architecture, spectacular views and delicious cuisine.

Split is centered around the ancient Roman Palace of the Emperor Diocletian, a magnificent building constructed at the beginning of the 4th century AD and featuring limestone and marble towers, columns and courtyards. It lies in a bay decorated with white sails of yachts, as sailing is definitely Split’s big thing!

The city is full of architectural gems, one of which is St. Duje’s Cathedral, the oldest cathedral in the world, built in 305 AD and combining both Roman and Catholic influences. Nearby Varoš is a must-see, one of the city’s oldest parts, full of charming streets and beautiful houses.

Make sure you visit the Bačvice Beach and the Riva promenade, popular with locals and full of cafés and palm trees. While on the hunt for local specialities, try soparnik - wood fired dough filled with vegetables - or local soft drinks Pipi and Orela.

So just pack your bags and head to Split Airport! Booking.com has plenty of sunny apartments, friendly guest houses and well-equipped hotels for your Split adventure.

Overall great city but not the great culture.

Overall great city but not the great culture. People are very very rude towards tourist and needless to say it's very expensive, party city. With that, even for the party scene there are plenty of other options across the globe. Save yourself sanity and money and explore other locations vs overpriced Croatia with extremely bad culture and people.

A safe and quiet town, with pubs, bars, and clubs where you can party until late at night. The beaches visited (about 8 in 7 dd.) met the standards of beauty and cleanliness of the water, and they were all well-ventilated, making them ideal for sunbathing. There are places to visit and be impressed by and they can also be reached at a not too excessive price. The numerous restaurants along the Riva promenade offer a seafront culinary experience that both delights the palate and relaxes the mind. Places I recommend dancing for people aged 25 to 35 are: Emperor's Club 305 A.D. (Trogirska ul. 7; entrance: €10-20) and X Night Club (Sinjska ul. 5; entrance: free). Must-try restaurant: Pizzeria Sette Sorelle (Trg Franje Tuđmana 3). Excursions to do: Brač Island to reach the famous Golden Horn, a symbol of the Adriatic; Marjan Forest Park; Blue Cave; Krka Waterfalls. Beaches to see: Kasjuni beach; Podstrana beach.

Loved Split...So vibrant and the people so friendly. our accommodation was right in the centre of old town and a short walk to everything. we ate at restaurants along the front overlooking the water and they are all lovely, serving both international and local cuisine, all from fresh ingredients. The food sensational and service top notch. We stayed on two nights but would have liked to stay much longer... we will definitely be back.

Split is a compact city with a great food scene! Around every corner there seems to be a perfect photo opportunity, street food vendor to try or alleyway to explore. In peak season, it does get crowded but early in the morning or by late afternoon the crowds are manageable.

We only had an afternoon in Split, and for us this was enough. Being mid-summer, it was extremely busy. Diocletian's palace is amazing and free to look around a good deal of it. Don't be fooled by the two Roman centurions offering to pose with you for a photo - they will expect 10 Euros each as a thank you! It was nice walking the streets and feeling the buzz, but the feeling quickly wore off.

Laid back and sophisticated. People were super friendly and very helpful. Highly recommended Split for a break with friend, couples and family’s . The room is just in the middle of the main attraction of Split. Room is well decorated with modern furnitures and the bathroom is much bigger than any of the 5 star hotels of Europe. Best part is the assistance of Srdjan, who went out of his way to help me not only at Split but throughout Croatia. He helped me to book the bus tickets, ferry tickets to Brac, hiring cars, restaurants and what not. He is the best. Would recommend Miravel and Srdjan to all.

I loved this place! So cozy and felt like home. I could get everything i needed, the nights were quiet and the location just perfect. Its a short nice walk to the old town and just a few minutes from amazing sandy beach. (Most beaches are indeed stones in Croatia). Nearby also very nice food places, nice coffee, supermarkets etc. Everything was just perfect during my stay and I will definitely come back!

Have to say that the hotel exceeded my expectations. Unfortunately we were only able to spend one night here but wish it was more. Great views in a large room. Also quite possibly the best hotel gym I have used to date. The pool area is the ideal place to cool off after a day in the Croatian heat. Great sound insulation in the rooms from the street and internal sounds.
