Very charming Hotel just blocks away from the incredible Fortuna hot springs facility. My son and I stayed there one night as we visited the hot springs. The springs are so worth it for a more cozy hot spring experience. The room was small but very comfortable and just the right size for the two of us. The on site restaurant was good and they were super accommodating as we came the final hour to make the most of the springs. The staff was awesome and super nice. Going out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. My son was a big fan of the coffee/hot chocolate complementary machine. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful farm setting with a view. Comfy beds roomy living area and kitchen, washer and dryer, super clean and perfect location! Close to restaurants, a market and all the sites on the Golden Circle. We loved it!

We enjoyed the warm, friendly greeting and care we received at the farm. I would say this is a unique experience, especially as I had observed how important farming is in Iceland visiting other parts of the country. Excellent food offerings at the restaurant, we visited the ice cream parlor multiple times and loved watching the cows! The three sisters and their families are on site and working alongside their staff, which makes this a smooth running operation. We loved the horseback ride offered to Bruarfoss. It was so beautiful, and the guide was very professional and knowledgeable.

    I have driven through on numerous occasions but never stopped. I was pleasantly surprised by the place. Lovely view of the lake adequate local facilities close by and only a half hour drive to Geyser and Gullfoss.

    Laugarvatn is in an excellent location between the national park to the west, and Geysir and Gulfoss Waterfall to the east. It has a beautiful view of the lake and the surrounding hills, a few restaurants, gas, and plenty of lodging.

    Upon arrival my son and I were greeted by a very sweet employee. The room was clean and we had a very nice view over the lake. The room had a nice size. There is a gasstation just next door to the hotel. We stayed for two nights because it was close to Thingvellir Nationalpark. We didn't buy breakfast here, so I can't say if it was any good.

    Charming cottage in the middle of the meadows with grazing sheep and singing birds. The cottage looks small from the outside but in fact it's a full-fledged hotel room of a good size with a fully equipped kitchenette and a comfortable bathroom. The cottage is nicely furnished, very clean. Would like to stay again.

    The hotel was very clean. We liked the shoes off policy. Very peaceful atmosphere, including the library and some nice mellow music. Very friendly and helpful stuff, who tried the best to maintain the positive atmosphere in the guesthouse.

    On arrival the host upgraded us. Breakfast provided in the room fridge to have at our leisure. Great view of the mountain behind the hotel and next to a lovely thermal spa open into the evening. Great stay
