My stay at Edgewater was fantastic, it has been my second time staying here, great location, sound and view of the sea and beach, room was very tidy clean and comfortable. Weather was absolutely stunning, loved it. The managers were very friendly and welcoming.

    We really used Orewa as a base.

    We really used Orewa as a base. To travel around the area, over to Whangaparāoa and up to Matakana and Omaha. The beachcomber was perfect for this. It was all we needed with lovely bed and nice kitchenette and a nice big tv to watch the rugby on. The bathroom was good with a good shower. All we needed and wanted.

    Orewa is a small coastal town with a big heart.

    Orewa is a small coastal town with a big heart. There are loads of little shops and restaurants. The Sunday market was such a lovely surprise. There are also some of the best breakfast cafes. Can walk and cycle along the Estuary onto the beach.

    If you want to go to a place that makes you feel welcome,...

    If you want to go to a place that makes you feel welcome, then it Orewa is that place. If you need to feel safe where there is a sence of community, where people are friendly and happy then its Orewa.It's a go to happy place for me when i need a break or a change, that feeds my body, tucks me in at night and gives me peace and calm. That charges my batteries, resets me and gets me back on the right path until the next time. It's also a spiritual place.

    Beautiful seaside town.

    Beautiful seaside town. Beach is stunning, excellent for children. Big parks, markets on weekends. Supermarket is close. Plenty of eating options close by from takeaways to fine dining. Shopping mall just up the road at Silverdale. Bush walks and much much more.

    Orewa is easy to find and has excellent choice for food - the whole area is well laid out and in a wonderful setting of mature trees, parks, walkways, convenient access to beach and parking. The shops are interesting and locals friendly. Just feels like a peaceful easy place to be.

    This is a comfortable, clean and casual facility. It is by no means state of the art or modern but its basic presentation is clean and perfect for families. It has a full kitchen and lots of space. The location is absolutely unbeatable, a short walk (200m) to parks, beach and great restaurants and supermarkets. It is in the heart of Orewa. The needs were super comfortable.

    We think that the location is excellent. You are a short walk from the main drag in Orewa with all the shops and Cafes. You are also a short walk (15 minutes) from the beautiful Orewa Beach. Also within a short drive you have a number of other beaches you can go to. The accommodation was private and quiet.

    Property was very comfortable and clean. Fully fenced and we could take our little fur baby without any worries. Fantastic location and we walked the beach every day and walked a few minutes into Orewa for dinner each night. Everything you would need was provided and beds were comfortable.

    Perfect location, 20 metres to Orewa Beach. Amazing courtyard, lovely decor, very quiet. Rufus very friendly little dog, as we're the owners. Great weekend stay to get away from the hustle and bustle of Auckland, just a short drive, to peace and tranquility. Would stay again.
