Milan is a beautiful city and ideal base if you want to visit Northern Italy and want to do quick day trips to Como, Garda, Verona and even Venice. However not recommended during summer, as its really hot and humid.Guest review bySoniaUnited Arab Emirates - 8.0
Great place to visit with great views.
Great place to visit with great views. Plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. A small bathing area by a park. Ride the funicular to enjoy great views although the walk up to the lighthouse is not for the fainthearted as steep and hot in summer but worth the walk. A shuttle bus to the top is also available. Not as busy as Lake Garda and better in my opinion.Guest review bysimonUnited Kingdom - 10.0

I didn’t expect that Bergamo was so beautiful if you go to Bergamo you must definitely go to the old City at the top of the mountain, the view is panoramic, the narrow streets and lots of shops there, we had proper traditional Italian food there ad very tasty and reasonably prices.Guest review byDashnorUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Sirmione inside the castle walls was extremely crowded in August. The food in general was not good and very pricey. I would stay outside the castle walls and go there for a visit. On the other hand the thermal pool at Sirmione Terme and Spa services and the fact that the hotel is next to the boat dock made it very convenient and pleasurable.Guest review bySerapUnited States - 10.0
Lovely little town on the Lake Garda.
Lovely little town on the Lake Garda. Very easy to reach by train (we took a train from Milan). Great to travel around the Lake Garda - ferries from morning to evening to different places. Great choice of restaurants and shops. A few local beaches. Beautiful scenery for walks / runs. Great place to stay - 100% recommendGuest review byEgleUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Having spent 311 nights in Limone you must understand that we like it and the surrounding north Lake Garda area. Last year it was selected as the most superb flower decorated town in Italy and at the international competition won the top five 'petals' in it's category of small resorts. The winter population is 1200 people but usually busy with visitors from the end of April till mid October. The only criticism this year is that I detected a cigarette end on some steps! Standards are slipping but the Mayor, Il Sindaco, was quite distressed. If in doubt just go and you will not be disappointed.Guest review byDuncanUnited Kingdom - 10.0

A must visit city, far better experience than over touristy Verona, for example. Many museums and sites of interest, laid back vibe at night , lots of restaurants with great variety of cuisines, mainly "locals" from suburbs or the old town, chilling in a very pleasant atmosphere, amazing historical buildings and Italian charm. Has all the architecture of "typical" Italy, but without the crowds.Guest review byMichaelUnited Kingdom - 6.0

Hotel easy to find although there was some confusion at the airport as to where the free airport shuttle bus left from but perhaps the driver was just having an off day. The room was well equipped and spacious but we had no hot water in the morning. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Staff were very helpful and friendlyGuest review byMargaretUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Bellagio is a beautiful place, though it can be quite busy and crowded. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by an unpleasant encounter with a policewoman who was not friendly at all. We had just arrived and accidentally parked in a residential parking area. Despite our attempt to explain the mistake and our immediate departure, she issued us a ticket. On top of our already tight schedule, we then had to spend time figuring out how and where to pay the fine.Guest review byR YRCanada - 10.0

Beautiful countryside and perfect for walking or cycling in the hillsides around the village, plus some really nice restaurants open late into the evening filled with people who all appeared to be having a good time. Also great to be able to do some duty free shopping.Guest review byBruceUnited Kingdom
