Really enjoyed this little hotel. Our room was big and had a huge balcony. Had lovely massages (it was our Camino rest day). It's in a great location. And breakfast was incredible with made to order eggs and more treats than we could eat. Gracious front desk staff.

    We came in mid August for the festival and parade of Romaria d'Agonia and to see the streets with the salt designs. It was amazing. We loved that the city provided bleachers for the parades and chairs for the folk festival.

    A wonderful historical and cultural city with great people...

    A wonderful historical and cultural city with great people and places for walking. This was my first time far north in Portugal, and couldn't believe how much different it was. The mentality, climate, food, welcomeness, art, stylish people, great city organization, and cleanliness made me seriously considering to move here ♥ This place is for culture lovers, who find Porto to be wonderful, but too busy and unmaintained. Transportation is great and there is a wonderful nature connecting Viana, Ponte de Lima, and Ponte de Barca. See you soon my dearest VDC!

    A nice city with lots to offer such as the costume museum & museum of decorative arts, churches to visit. We were lucky to see dances from different countries at the cultural center for music & Art. Many excellent restaurants with delicious & fresh seafood. It is not as touristy as Lisbon or Porto

    Great location on Camino. Facilities not very clean. Shower extremely tiny. Anyone bigger than 70kg would not fit thru door (I had to squeeze in). Shower head broken. Kitchen basic and not clean. Room damp and a bit smelly. Very noisy. Bed rock hard so great if you like a firm bed. The town itself is beautiful

    Fantastic, will stay again sometime hopefully. Liked · Perfect location, beautifully clean and comfortable. Loved the terrace and communal facilities which were pristine. Staff very friendly, professional and helpful. Would definitely recommend to others.

    Fantastic unspoilt historical place.

    Fantastic unspoilt historical place. Streets to get lost in, amazing beaches nearby and a fabulous view point up a funicular. Whilst we were there, there was a ‘Marginal’ festival on during the evening which was a great addition. Few tourists.

    This apartment is in a perfect location to visit Viana do Castelo. It’s a short walk to the train station (>10 mins), on a small quiet side street adjacent to the cathedral. Also a short walk to a large supermarket and the Elevador de Santa Luzia which brings you up to the beautiful basilica in minutes. We had no issues with the apartment and would recommend it to anyone who wants to have their own space whilst visiting Viana do Castelo. The bathroom is small as is the shower but it did not bother us at all

    Everything! João was a brilliant host and was incredibly helpful in the lead up to our trip, and whilst we were there. The rooms and whole of the property were lovely. Delicious breakfast every morning with fresh fruit and pastries. Very close to Viana do Castelo and literally next door to two supermarkets but the hotel felt like your own private oasis. The pool was lovely and refreshing. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

    we enjoyed our stay in hotel fabrica. the staff service at the hotel is professional and perfect. viana do castelo is a very nice historic town to offer you a lot of things to do. the hotel management and the working people there were always ready to help you and give advice what to do and where to go. breakfast was really fantastic and a number one during our stay in northportugal. thank you eberhard and monika

    Very nice hotel in the historical center of Viana do Castelo. Lots of small shops, cafés and restaurants nearby. Only a 5 minutes walk to the funicular up to the Santa Luzia church. Very nice and attentive staff that gave us a lot of good advice about what to visit and restaurants for dinner. Some parking spaces available in the basement of the hotel.
