Beautiful hotel with excellent service and staff. They made us feel so special (especially the kids) with extra amenities and treatment. The location was fantastic, the rooms were beautiful, quiet and comfortable, and the extras like cookies in the room for the kids, the house car, the fantastic recommendations and reservations from concierge etc are why we keep coming back to Four Seasons.

FAQs about hotels in Boston

Where Everybody Knows Your Name

One of the oldest and most historic US cities, Boston is known as "America’s Walking City". In its heart, next to 18th-century Faneuil Hall, is Quince Market - a food haven. In the nearby seaport, you can take a whale-watching trip or dine at one of the many restaurants serving a Boston specialty: lobster with melted butter.

The streets south of the peaceful Charles River in Back Bay are lined with Victorian brownstone houses. At the downtown end of one – Beacon Street – is the Cheers bar, modeled on the 80's sitcom. Opposite is Boston Common, a large park with a bronze sculpture celebrating the book "Make Way for Ducklings". The golden dome of the House of Representatives is by the other end.

The oldest part is Charlestown and streets around the Bunker Hill obelisk still feature old-style gas lamps, though now they are electric. Over in Cambridge, Harvard is the USA’s oldest and most prestigious university. The campus is open to the public, as is Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), whose central point is an emblematic, Pantheon-like building.

Sport in Boston is also a big thing, with the Celtics and Red Sox among the city’s big name teams.

The largest New England city, Boston has the perfect size for walking and cycling. Logan International Airport is connected by public transport to Boston hotels, motels, apartments and B&Bs.

That Boston is such a walkable city with so many sights easily reached on foot. The guided tour of Fenway Park was outstanding and delivered in a manner that would be enjoyed by both baseball aficionados and those new to the game. Had a great breakfast at Cafe Sauvage on Mass Ave. our last day in Boston and only regretted we didn't discover it sooner. And keeping with the French theme, dinner at La Voile on Newbury Ave. never disappoints and this visit was no different.

Boston is not a huge city it is very clean and we felt very safe. There are lots of places of interest to visit, we went to the Charlestown Navy Yard where you can board the USS Constitution and have a look around. There are plenty of knowledgeable personnel around to answer any questions you may have about the ship. Don’t forget to take photo ID if you want to board as it is still a working military ship. We also visited the Isabella Stuart Museum of Art, Copley Square, Newbury Street shops, Harvard University, walked through Boston Common and had an amazing dinner in Saltie Girl on Dartmouth Steet.

Most of the historical sites and many events were free of charge or very low priced. Felt very safe there, especially for such a large city. Easy to get around. So much to see and do, only co.pleted half our list. Next time I would book a harbor cruise in advance. Skip the Union Oyster House and stick with the Warren Tavern instead. Better food, beautiful neighborhood.

I’m not a fan of Boston, I went to college there. It is a nice town to visit in spring, summer or fall for a long weekend. The seafood there is excellent. I recommend visiting Wallys, a hole in the wall jazz bar in the back bay.

So much history to explore and markets to enjoy.

So much history to explore and markets to enjoy. There was a great ramen restaurant on Newberry Street, and a good Irish pub a few blocks from my hotel. A walk to Union Oyster House was rewarded with a fine meal, including chowder. Fenway Park more than met my expectations. Love that place. I went up to View Boston at the top of the Prudential Center, and it was worth it. I'll make plans to be back to this great city.

We went to Boston in the summer. Enjoyed the walking tour of the freedom trail. The Boston tea party museum was interesting. We took a day trip to Salem as well. Boston is well connected with public transportation so going around is convenient. However, Boston is an expensive city in comparison to the other states we visited.

My son brought me to Boston for a Red Sox game and some sightseeing. He and I loved the location. I never like big hotels. They are so impersonal so I alway try to find a smaller place or VRBO. Copley house is so convenient to everything. We averaged 12-16 thousand steps each day except for our 1 rain day. The sofa bed being so nice with the Temperpedic mattress made my son very happy!

The location is the best to get to know Boston, the T is right around the corner but you can walk to the majority of Boston attractions. Rooms are small but very well organized. Staff is always helpful and the hotel is very modern and clean. Breakfast was also very good. We really enjoyed our stay and will come back.

Although it is very close to airport, the hotel is very quite. The main bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was big enough. The room had a little fridge and a Microwave oven. The T-station is very close (~6min walk) through a beautiful small park. Our stay was during the Boston Marathon days and was just fine!

I really enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt in Boston. The location is super convenient, close to the airport and set in a charming portside neighborhood. The room was spotless, tidy, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I especially loved the marine-inspired design that flows throughout the hotel.

The location is the best. At the edge of Beacon Hill close to the Charles River so you can go for nice walks or runs. Walking distance to both shopping and Boston sights. Design and rooms of the hotel are also nice.
