The room is bigger than many of the other hotels I've stayed in in Tokyo. Room is bright and clean. Particularly like the Resident's Lounge at Level 6 where our group of friends could gather in the night for a drink and snacks and fellowship together. It's also within walking distance to a train station, Takashimaya and also to the kuromon street where there are plentiful of eating stalls and shopping of local products.

The location was a short cab or 15-20 min walk from Dotonbori. Also 5 min walk from subway which was very convenient when traveling all around Osaka. The room was nice and had a balcony which could be a little noisy at night depending on the cars that pass by.

My only gripe about this property was the breakfast. For example, they used breads, croissants, etc. that had not been baked on premises. They looked more like processed breads. I just think when you’re paying $40 a head that you should get high quality.

    Great alternative to the full on Tokyo , lots to see and alternatives within 60 min on the train ( Kyoto,Nara,Kobe) . Lots of good places to eat and drink , 4 craft ale bars within 20 min walk of the hotel and an unbelievable Japanese Whisky Bar !!

    We only stayed one night when we arrived as we needed a place to recharge and freshen up before we head to Kyoto. The hotel is very nice with complete amenities in the room. The room we occupied has the view of the airport runway but we never heard any noise coming from the airplanes arriving and taking off. A bit expensive but it was worth it. Breakfast buffet was very good too.

    Sakai is where the Black Ship finally stopped, it brough the first Portugese to Japan. The city is full of history and is where some of the best knives in the country are made. Easy to walk around, barely a tourist in sight, it is a wonderful counter balance to the frentic and congested Osaka scene. Highly recomend the knife factory and history tour, you can book that through Trip Advisor. Remi the guide was fantastic.

    The area was close to a number of interesting sites. We visited an incredible vintage market at Expo '70 Commemorative Park. Travel to Katsuo Ji (my favorite!) was easy from this area. Our rental here was a great bargain.

    To be truthful I stayed because I wanted to visit the airport as an aircraft spotter, so I did not look around a lot, however in the evening I did find an excellent Nepalese bar / restaurant, so much so that I never bothered to look for anywhere else the following two nights of my stay.

    The breakfast was fantastic — so many options, and everything tasted great. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Every part of the hotel, including our room, was spotless. I requested fresh towels daily, and they not only provided them but also made the bed each day. The views from our room, the restaurant, and the Sky Spa were absolutely breathtaking. After a long day of walking and sightseeing, relaxing in the Sky Spa’s large bath with that amazing view was the perfect way to unwind.

    New and very reasonable price for the quality. Highly recommended for the travellers before the trip, but better to buy something to eat and drink around the station, before reaching this hotel by walk (10mins) as there are not many shops around.

    Exceptional service provided by our host, Scarlet, and her hard working staff! Meals set the bar above and beyond expectations, even for Japan. While relaxing in the garden area, there are koi ponds and a multitude of flowering plants to enjoy!

    We really enjoyed our time in Osaka, especially visiting Osaka Castle, exploring beautiful temples, and enjoying the city’s great shopping options. The atmosphere was vibrant, and there’s plenty to see and do. Unfortunately, our visit to the EXPO 2025 site was a disappointment due to poor organisation, which ended up feeling like a waste of time. Despite that, we’d happily return to Osaka to experience more of its culture, food, and history.

    We didn’t like the location at all, on the internet it says the first train to airport starts at 4:30 that’s why I booked this location but we turned out having to book a taxi ride which was 5500 yen just 6k to the airport 🥲
