Such a quaint place to stay. We had a room at the castle and at the village. The castle room was nicer but the village room was neat too. We didn’t know we didn’t have to pay to get into the village before we checked in but easily got our money refunded. Breakfast at the hotel was really nice and we walked twice along the water front enjoying the sea air and the views. Lunch and gelato in the village were both delicious.

Cardiff is a beautiful city with lots of attractions to see. We went to the Cardiff Castle, the famous Cardiff market, Barry beach and some lovely parks around. We also went on a boat trip which was amazing. We loved listening to the recorded history of the River Taff and Ely. The kids enjoyed lots of activities at the fair ground.

I loved all the choices you had on trips around llandudno. The hop on hop off bus was so regular and convenient. Lots of places to eat and very affordable. Lovely walks down the pier. The cable car was so exciting and peaceful. My hotel was perfect and lots more places to choose from depending on your budget.

Tenby is hilly with lots of small, interesting and quaint streets to wander around. Plenty of places to eat and drink even in high season. Signage of the coastal paths from the town centre could be better. Enjoyed the costal walks though they are very hilly but worth the effort. Beautiful beaches with life guard attendance. Good base to explore this corner to the country.

A nice place with an excellent shopping centre.

A nice place with an excellent shopping centre. Disappointed with the lack of green areas in the centre. People, including shop staff, were very nice and helpful. However it was difficult to find somewhere to eat what we like (traditional English meals). Ended up with tasteless junk takeaway. We did not bring transport but did not need to go anywhere that was not walkable, other than we would have liked to have found a suitable eatery nearer the city centre, because we have a dog and even if allowed, he does not travel well on buses. We are not a young couple and it looked like there was little for us to do in the evenings.

Lovely spot in North Wales, lovely beach and some nice restaurants. Locals were friendly . We did a boat trip around Cardigan Bay and it was well worth the £20 per head cost, although we were very lucky with the weather. Some nice shops. We ate at The Captain’s Table (really lovely little place, food was spot on.
