The white cliffs are absolutely breathtaking to view. Not too difficult to reach, around half hour walk from city centre. Food options around are cheap and good quality. Overall had some good time away from busy London.Guest review byKay - 10.0

The beach is at the end of the high street in Broadstairs which is perfect for picking up any last minute amenities along the way. I visited the Turner Museum for the first time & I found travelling backwards & forwards from Broadstairs station to Margate a few times (forgetful me) really easy & I'm not sure if this would have been any easier by car so its a 👍 for the railways.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Our visit was far too short and have vowed to return soon! The Royal Spa Hotel proved to be a perfect place to stay. Spotless, spacious and very welcoming kind and helpful team. Delicious breakfast. The purpose of our trip was to attend the wonderful Anne Boleyn Musical at Hever Castle. A night to remember, and what an amazing part our history this castle has held.Guest review byDAVIDUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Margate is abit rundown in places but the old town was great and restaurants we enjoyed especially GB Pizza co it was on the seafront and we could sit outside in the evening. Dreamland is getting better there are alot of rides there especially for kids. A good traditional seaside town and lots of things to do in easy walking distance. The beach is great.Guest review byClareUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Ramsgate is a delightful seaside town.
Ramsgate is a delightful seaside town. The harbour area is fab to wander around, the beach is wide and roomy, plus it was easy to walk along the beach / broadwalk to Broadstairs which is also a gorgeous town to visit (where we watched a band play on the band stand and played crazy golf). A perfect place for a long weekend on the British seaside.Guest review byFionaUnited Kingdom - 6.0

Folkestone was a lovely surprise - so much to see and do - art everywhere, of all kinds (lights , sounds and sights!) museum great, lots of history, very wide range of restaurants and pubs. Great for families with the golden beaches and the harbour area with its surprise squirting fountain area! Cheerful place, quirky too. Easy to get buses for only 3 pounds each to neighbouring Canterbury, Hythe and Dungeness (adventures!) A vinyl record shop, traditional impressive promenade and gardens, free music at the bandstand - loved it!Guest review byJaneUnited Kingdom
