The hotel was spotless and very well maintained. All staff — reception, waiters, chefs, doormen, bar staff, and drivers — were friendly and spoke good English, which made me feel comfortable. After check-out I suddenly felt unwell in the lobby, and the staff kindly let me rest in a clean room as a late check-out until my flight. Thanks to their care I was able to travel safely. I’m very grateful and will definitely return.

Very good location, and a very good family that runs the hotel . It's located exactly next to 7/11 where almost every daily use items are available. Also next to it is a bike rental shop if you are interested. The street next to it is very very loud with clubs and bars but we could not hear anything when we were sleeping in the hotel room.

    Lots to do and see! Saigon Opera house is always showcasing great theatrical performances and I watch the Bamboo Circus. walking down all of the streets as well as the history of the vietnam people, the war time locations.

    I really liked this city, there's so much to do and it is so...

    I really liked this city, there's so much to do and it is so cheap. Be careful of getting in taxis, use the app Grab, I was ripped off twice when I first got there by taxi drivers, once at the airport and a second time by working on meters, we are talking the difference between paying 1milion vietnamese compared with paying 40,000 on the app. Other than that I had a great time and would definitely go again.

    its a full on fantastic city. whatever you want or your needs are its there at a click of the fingers. from parting to chill. i will always be checking back into saigon ( sin city ) HMC. Food is delicious from pho to rice to noodles to bahn . few streets back of the main drag nicer and cheaper. easy to get around good walking or grab bike or car.

    I just arrived and will be there for some time.

    I just arrived and will be there for some time. My advice is not to stay in Quan 1 because many buildings are not fully accessible unless in big hotels. Many hotels are in lane ways behind shops and not accessible by cars. Taxis leave your luggage on the street and you trek your luggage through the laneways to your hotel. Some fancy hotels are actually located in these laneways and they have staff in front to carry the luggage.

    Ho Chi Minh City is incredibly busy, with chaotic motorcycle/scooters traffic that feel like it hasn’t changed since 1970. Surprisingly, despite the chaos and frequent near-misses, there aren't any accidents or visible vehicle damage. The unspoken restraint and calmness of Vietnamese drivers stand out, contrasting with what you might expect from such dense traffic. It’s a striking reminder that different driving cultures can coexist with surprising levels of order. A takeaway for Western countries is to learn from this calm, collective approach to navigating busy streets.

    3rd trip to Ho Chi Minh City, each visit has been 2 to 3 days (as a lead in to travelling the country) which is a good amount of time to stay and return to old favourites, find new places and not feel like you have overstayed. A very busy city but not as chaotic traffic wise as Hanoi. However Hanoi is still my preference between the 2 big cities.

    We were excited to stay in this iconic 5* hotel and it did not disappoint. The lobby was very impressive, as was our enormous room which overlooked the pool area. The air conditioning worked well in communal areas and in the bedroom, which we were grateful for! The room was very clean and the bed was super comfy. Location in district 1 is perfect and all the staff were lovely. We enjoyed a happy hour cocktail in the rooftop bar which has great views over the Saigon River. Highly recommended as a special treat when visiting Ho Chi Minh City.

    Central location in District 1, where basically all sights of Ho Chi Minh City are located. The staff was extremely friendly. They even drove my boyfriend to a pharmacy when I needed medicine in the evening. One evening we were provided a great foot bath for free. We also booked the Mekong Delta Tour over the Hotel. The tour was a bit touristic but from what I have read online, that's normal. The breakfast was served in a partner hotel; it was small but nice.

    Family operated hotel. Only 13 rooms in the building, located in District 1, about a 10 minute stroll to Ben Thanh Market and Bui Vien Walking Street. Breakfast was basic, with a huge range of fresh fruit to choose from and a set menu made to order. Rooms were very spacious, clean and tidy with aircon to keep the room cool all day long. We were booked to stay again but unfortunately they are upgrading their rooms during our next visit to Ho Chi Minh City.
