Calpe was beautiful, it is well located so you can visit other places also like Benissa, Altea and Alicante (all by car and train I believe). The beach front at Calpe is lovely, clean, friendly. The Saturday market was fun and it was great to see the old salt marsh with flamingos! It is a very hilly town so be warned there are steep hills to climb. We love Calpe, have been coming for 30 yrs, even then my Dad thought it was becoming too built up, he always wondered where everyone would park but it hasn’t seemed to change the wonderful feel of the town. Love Calpe and we have been visiting since 2012.
Love Calpe and we have been visiting since 2012. Lots of new buildings going up so it is changing a lot. Good bus service. Lots of great places to eat. Our sons went sailing on a Hobie from a place a little further up from La Fossa beach.Guest review byLisaUnited Kingdom - 10.0
The "old town" end of Calpe is excellent.

It is a lovely town, very clean with a good variety of shops...
It is a lovely town, very clean with a good variety of shops, bars and restaurants. There is also the little train which takes you to the old town and through to the to the harbour. Good selection of bars/restaurants to sit in and people watch. In the evenings we went to the old town which is uphill but plenty of seats in the way for a breather. The soft seating in the living room were caked in hair. Kitchen facilities are very dated. Had to buy a kettle as none provided (we left it, you’re welcome). Pool was fabulous and the location is pleasant. Quiet and good for a young family. Personally I never like staying in non-hotel type accommodation but Lukas was super flexible and helpful with everything. It's like having a personal butler. His penthouse is spotlessly maintained, everything is brand new and the huge terrace offers a stunning view. Super fast WiFi. Cannot believe what a great deal this place is. We are travelling a lot, and this house in Calpe (Cucarres) was extremely good, especially views and nature surrounding. We were 6 person and we had enough chairs and all kitchen utensils. It's easy to get to the beaches and to the different restaurants. The view is also very impressing with the Penyal d'Ifac in fornt of you. The penyal d'Ifac is also very easy accessible from the hotel. We had very nice rooms with view to the port. Personnel is very professional and nice.
