Location was great.
Location was great. For a short vacation it was a good place to stay. Property manager Whitney was very helpful right from booking to check out. A township of 3200 people, with quiet and beautiful settings. Glorious scenery surrounded by mountains, a photographers dream location. Our was an nostalgic trip and nothing seems to changed in 5 years, but becoming more sophisticated with a number of attractive wine bars, and micro-breweries. The Visitors Information Bureau has a detailed history of the area including details of the construction on the hydro scheme operating still in the area. Well worth traveling up the hill to Bogong Village and Falls creek - ski resort. Ate at West Peak Hotel - nice meal and has its own Micro Brewery. Recommend.Guest review byThomfamAustralia - 10.0

Very pretty area but roads dangerous in the wet weather.
Very pretty area but roads dangerous in the wet weather. We left the area early the next morning for Bright and could not get a coffee anywhere, all 4 places were packed and the info centre told us it was a 50 minute wait!
