After a tough day on the WHW - there was nothing better than diving off the pier into the ice cold loch to refresh before tucking into a hearty dinner followed bu a huge bowl of ice cream (cheers chef!). Super friendly staff and ice cold drinks for sale at reception (amongst others). Top nights sleep too! Will def be back A++

We got a nice room - very spacious and with a view to Loch Lomond. The restaurant had very good food and drinks, although the price seemed a bit high for us. Plenty of parking space and peaceful location, perfect for an overnight stay during a road trip.

This is better than staying in a castle. It looks like a Manor House. The reception rooms and little lounges are lovely. Dining was perfection. I couldn't believe it when the chef came out to talk to me!! Breakfast was really a delight. Only place we stayed that had fresh fruit along with everything else to make a true Scottish breakfast. The hotel even had an elevator. The location right on Loch Lomond just can't be beat. The boat tours are just across the street. Even just one night was magical.

The lodge is beautiful and has everything you need.

The lodge is beautiful and has everything you need. The local shops are very far away so please take everything you need food and drink as you won’t want to drive as the road in and out isn’t great. The restaurant pub on site is not worth your visit, the food is very poor and it’s very dirty. The site is quiet and the shore is lovely but you cannot see it from the lodge and is a short walk down. I wouldn’t go back due to the location , it was too remote for us

Rowardennan is at the end of a road.

Rowardennan is at the end of a road. It has access to Ben Lomond for hill walkers and is part of the West Highland Way route. Apart from that there is nothing there except the hotel and water sports from what we could see!

    The location was stunning.

The location was stunning. The hostel was clean and well equipped. Plenty of parking and the staff were always really helpful. Would highly recommend staying at the hostel. Would definitely re visit. Perfect location for what we wanted as we it was our plan to climb Ben Lomond ~ once we climbed it, it was perfect as we got to cool down in the loch afterwards. The hostel has its own private beach area and a jetty to swim from

Loch Lomond shore is a few minutes walk from the cottage.

Loch Lomond shore is a few minutes walk from the cottage. The views from every room, including the two conservatories were amazing. Our dog sat in the conservatory watching Sheep TV for hours. So happy it was dog friendly. All of the amenities were modern and plentiful, especially the kitchen. So stylish. Lots of hand made and interesting pieces around the villa. Gorgeous.

Hotel situated in a fabulous location overlooking the Loch...

Hotel situated in a fabulous location overlooking the Loch Lomand. Secluded and quiet - good for hiking & nature walks. Good water sport facilities by an outside company. The stand up paddle boarding was never available on the 2 occasions we wanted to do it. Ideally it would have been good if the hotel gave a discount and made arrangements for reservation options at the time of check in. Menu was unfortunately limited, but some of the food was good.

A beautiful location with a basic but clean hotel.

A beautiful location with a basic but clean hotel. The staff were great and friendly . Food was nice but limited in choice, not great if you’re looking for a healthy meal. We were here for 2 nights so that wasn’t an issue. The play area was ideal for our 3 year old with little cars and trikes available. The range of water activities are good but book before you go by calling 03335770715 to avoid disappointment.

Beautiful location. Very peaceful and very comfy. The cabin had everything you needed and was really cosy after a day out walking the hills. The Rowardennan Hotel was open for food and drinks, which is only 1 minute away. Had a swim in the loch, too. Lovely trip.

Nice and friendly staff. Good facilities in kitchen Just thought the 85 quid was a bit steep. Although I was in my own twin room it's not of hotel standard and that's probably the rate for a reasonable hotel room with your own bathroom etc.
