The staff was excellent, very helpful. Great room with a large porch and an amazing view of the lake. The hotel is located on the main road, right in front of the train station yet it was very quiet inside. Finally a hotel with good lighting! The hotel has a very good restaurant. Location - perfect. Easy to get to from Milan by train. We had a very enjoyable stay. Hope to come back soon.

The room and building were modern, impeccably clean and relatively spacious. Access to the property and the room are basically without any human intervention: you get a code, you get a key, you enter the premises and the room on your own. The only human contact we had was the following morning for breakfast, where a good basic breakfast was served. It seems even that was a 'necessary evil' as far as the property-owners are concerned. I'm sure many view this as an advantage: no need to get all personal -this place is functionally a place to sleep while en-route from Point A to Point B.

    A small place by the lake, but the shore is more or less...

    A small place by the lake, but the shore is more or less private, so you are limited to the part of the shore that is in the camp, The place has many shops, which are more or less empty or already run down, also there is only one restaurant , which is open all day, but there is a lot of traffic. Also, there is a lot of garbage on the street. In general, you get the feeling that they had big plans for tourism, but they did not succeed.

    I stayed at this hotel for two nights as I was traveling for work. The venue I worked at was 8 mins away and I got there by taxi. The hotel is just next door to Dormelletto train station and it has its own restaurant and bar so you really don't even need to leave to have a nice meal or a coffee. The food at the restaurant and the complimentary breakfast was really good and the staff is attentive and kind. Overall a great short stay and being able to catch the train after a 2 min walk is super handy if you're not traveling by car.

    The views to the lake were impressive and awesome. The different animals living there are beautiful and great experiences. The style and decoration of the Hotel was outstanding. Vintage and rustic style. Room was very clean. The forest are amazing for going for a walk with the dog. You can encounter wild animals in the forest as well. The whole hotel concept is simply fantastic to enjoy the quietness and relax with the family.

    It was near the town of Dormelletto but also not too far from Arona ,which Is a bigger town. Camping Rose is a beautiful & peaceful campsite. We hired bikes at camping rose to get into both towns.

    We lived on the 3rd floor, the room was big and clean, there is free parking behind the hotel, the hotel has an elevator, and the breakfast is quite acceptable.
