Plenty of parking - either on the roadside approaching the town, or in the shared car parks. I could stay longer before catching my train in Bari, but I had to leave at 9:00 am due to the public transport limitations. The city is really beautiful.
The city is really beautiful. Typical turistic place with a lot of stores that sell souvenirs and restaurants. One night is enough to see all you need. This was a beautiful place to stay in the heart of the Trulli district. We are a family of 4 with 2 college age daughters and this was perfect, in fact, more than perfect. Its easy to do a day trip to Alborobello but you miss what...
Its easy to do a day trip to Alborobello but you miss what the town looks like at sunset and when all the fairy lights come on so i would advise do at least one night. Easy to base yourself there and do day trips to Monopoli/Polignamare. There is a bus twice daily at height of summer to Ostuni. so loads of travel options. Our hosts, Fabio and Dario, need particular mention. Although we never met them personally, they immediately helped us when our car did not start on a Saturday afternoon when everything is closed in Italy. Magically they found a friend who jump started the car and when we found it needed a new battery, he organised one and installed it at 9 pm.
