There isn't a huge amount to do in Holyhead itself.
There isn't a huge amount to do in Holyhead itself. A few nice walks around the coast. I don't have a car so next time I would stay closer inland in Anglesey to take advantage of more activities and places to see. I ended up taking a train to Bangor for a day. The surrounding area is stunning.
The surrounding area is stunning. Thousands of puffins at South Stack. But Holyhead itself has nothing to see. Amazing beaches and wild flowers and sand dunes a little further down the west coast road.Guest review byevelynUnited Kingdom

They are pet friendly which was ideal as we had our 2 dogs with us. We arrived quite late on the ferry from Dublin and the communication n how to get in was great. In the morning when we asked for recommendations for breakfast because it was already late they offered and accommodated us and our dogs inside the pub. The breakfast was very tasty.
