Old Leake is only a small country village, but is ideally situated for days out in Boston ( 5 miles) and Skegness (17 miles). 1.5 miles from the cabins is the local Coop, chip shop, and postoffice. 50 yards from the lane is pub serving food, and a couple of miles in the opposite direction is another.JanUnited Kingdom - 8.0Scored 8.0

Old Leake is a lovely and quiet part of Lincolnshire, but close enough to good pubs/restaurants should you not want to cook if you are self-catering. There were also some small supermarkets pretty local.

It was perfect for us.
It was perfect for us. My husband loves to fish and I love to read. The lodge was beautiful, with everything we needed to be comfortable and it was spotlessly clean. We loved the log burner and my husband could come in from the lake for a warm. It was casting from the verandah, so I could be part of the fishing excitment, when he caught as well. We are planning to return very soon.

Very quiet environment!
Very quiet environment! If you love fishing this is the best place. We stayed in king fisher for 3 nights; all of us loved the place. We watched the sunset; walked around the lake and stayed most of the time in our pod. Bbq is available too. The place is paradise; the owner were so accomodating ( paul and amy) . I highly recommend this place ! I give 10/10JarilynUnited Kingdom
