The town was small, but really nice and cozy. The Piran walls provide a view to whole town and it was amazing. The must-have restaurant in Piran is Fritolin Pri Cantini, at the May 1 trg. The best fresh fishes. Get a good beer or wine next to it, at Cantina Klet. Beware, both of the spots are cash-only! If you are planning to come by car, you should be warned, that cars are not allowed in Piran, so you have to park yours at Fornace, at the beginning of Piran for an expensive fee. Take a walk upstairs to the clock tower, it's worth the sweating! Also the Walls of Piran is a good walk as well. Piran is a lovely place to visit, lots of interesting walks and cycle ways. The food is amazing if you enjoy fish, always fresh and lots of choice. Other coastal towns are in easy reach and the local transport is very good.
