Tenby is a lovely seaside town with colorful buildings and a quaint downtown with lots of cute shops and restaurants. There are numerous beaches with a large swinging high/low tide that was fascinating to watch, especially how the boats in the harbor are in water part of the day and on sand another part. There are lots of coastal path walks either from Tenby or nearby. We took a bus to Manorbier, had a pint then walked the 7+ miles along the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path back to Tenby. It was gorgeous. We know Tenby well so we knew what to expect. A lively atmosphere, beautiful beaches, fish and chips and ice cream are a must! Hilly and steps to the beach but if you can make it, worth the climb. Room was quite basic but had everything we needed for a 2 night break, did have a slight smell in the bathroom. Breakfast was between 8 -9:30 with a selection of pastries, cereals, fruit & yogurts that you could have alongside a cooked breakfast.
