It is a classic family holiday beach.
It is a classic family holiday beach. Unpretentious cafes, a great beach area, a good hotel, and a playground for the kids. The main shopping strip is about a 10-15-minute walk and features a supermarket at the northern end. An industrial estate in the backblocks of Coolum has some decent supplies for home cooking. The 2 bedroomed apartment was in gr8 location. Very clean and bed comfortable. It is also very handy to Coles for shoppong etc and meals over at Coolum beach hotel very good. Very easy to use the carpark underneath and secure . Coolum beach is beautiful. Clean, sandy beach with crystal clear waters. Well-maintained boardwalk and goes along the beach offering beautiful views. Very dog friendly with walkers and joggers of all ages out early each day. The beach community is very welcoming with plenty of shops and restaurants.Guest review byJeanUnited States - 8.0

Great location to shops, restaurants and beach. No lift. Only stairs. The spa, sauna and pool are great. Very clean and tidy. Good size one bedroom unit. Well stocked kitchen. Can highly recommend Yianni's greek restaurant downstairs. There is yoga and a great spa treatment business as well downstairs. You can hire surfboards near by. The facilities were great even tho because of the weather I didn't get to use the swimming pool.
