Not much. The location is right in the city center, the bed is comfy and the sheets are nice. But that's about it.
Note: It's not an hotel. It's a converted apartment without staff anywhere nearby.

The palace was amazing, the town was great but it is also a quiet relaxed place but close to Naples, Caiazzo, etc. if we’d know it was as close to places we would have booked 3-5 nights there. The breakfast was great.

We went to see the castle.
We went to see the castle. Apart from the castle and grounds, which are spectacular and worth the trip is you are an architecture and garden enthusiast, the town itself didn’t seem to have much going on. There is an historic center and a bit of shopping, but Caserta itself is not an old city. We did not go to the old town, Caserta Vecchio, which is a few kilometers away our purpose in going was to visit the castle & Grounds, which did not disappoint.

The Royal palace definitely is worth the trip.
The Royal palace definitely is worth the trip. It certainly rivals Versailles. The apartments seem endless with so much opulence you can hardly take it all in. The grounds cover 4 km walking in a straight line and give a telescopic view and impression. The marble statues at all the fountains and inside the palace blow your mind. This is a must to visit. Useful tip, they have golf buggy tours very cheap for those that don’t want to walk the 8 km round trip. Also you can hire bikes.Tge English Garden at the end of the long avenue is gorgeous.

The historic center is quiet, pleasant and very nice to walk around. We stayed in I Borbone on Corso Trieste , 400 meters from the Palace . There are trees along the street, good shops and good restaurants. The people everywhere were friendly and helpful. We liked our stay. We came because of the palace which was worthwhile visiting and we’re glad we stayed for the night. We ate at Umami which was very good. I have visited a hairdresser salon “balmain” which was v good .

I liked how friendly the people were.
I liked how friendly the people were. How everything was pretty close together and walking distance from each other. I liked the choices of restaurants and shopping available. The choices of bars were also plentiful. Always something to do. I found this time of year also to be less crowded.
Your pictures online are beautiful the hotel is terrible never did I stay in the hotel that had darkness in the hallways no air conditioning in the hallways just filthy smelly mildew place have some kind of infection in my eyes from the dirt they'll be a dispute about this place I've already given the information to my attorney also from my suitcase gold bracelet is missing I didn't realize it till I got to Naples your place is a total disaster and let's do something about it I will put it all over Facebook graziano
Staff was outstanding. We were warmly welcomed upon arrival and our room was comfortable. Having breakfast brought into our room in the morning on a rolling trolly was wonderful. More than ample breakfast for two hungry travelers. Location could not be better, across the street from Reggia di Caserta. Street parking readily available in a neighborhood filled with interesting restaurants. One of the best experiences we've ever had with a non-hotel type establishment. We will return on our next trip to Caserta.
The bed, the room size, and views from the balcony (top floor) were great.
The free-to-use ironing/pressing board was a good addition, and the hotel even offers additional products which make life easier when ironing.
The breakfast was good even though no buffet, but would recommend to just let it be a buffet to the guests.
The reception staff helped us a lot to find a taxi at midnight, to pick us at Naples airport due to a taxi strike there, the taxi drove from Caserta to Naples airport and rescued us :)
The people were very welcoming, polite and always smiling.
There was a small but cute play area for kids, where my son played while waiting for the checkout/check-in, which o found convenient.
The reception gave my son a small cute drawing set, as a welcoming gift and he was surprised by it.
The restaurant has good quality food even if it is a slight expensive.
Nice and full of choices breakfast 👍🥐
Overall a very nice experience, which brings me to suggest this hotel.
This was our fourth time visiting this hotel as we always use it when visiting family in the area . It is clean and quaint and walking into the old town for dinner is very picturesque. There are many restaurants to choose from . There is a supermarket at the bottom of the hill which sells mostly anything you need . Parking can be an issue but we were always able to find somewhere to park . There is also an overflow car park across the road .
First of all, it was a family business and we love it. The room was very clean and big enough. The location was very close to the Caserta Palace and it was in the middle of the olive trees, amazing! Owner family was very kind, respectful and helpful. The hotel has also a restaurant and pizzas were delightful. Prices were also good. Someday, we surely come back! Thanks for everything. Grazie!!
The property is located very near the Palace; very convenient. There is limited parking, but a secure structured lot very close by. The room comes with an excellent breakfast. I also enjoyed the bar and had a fine dinner the evening of my stay in the hotel restaurant.
Marina is a wonderful host and we enjoyed our one night in Casertaveccia. She also cooks up a massive and delicious breakfast that will fill you for the rest of the day. For the price, it can’t be beat. You can even park right in front if there is room on the street.
Really beautifully appointed hotel, rooms were excellent as were the restaurant and swimming pool.
absolute bonus the car parking was on site…
The hotel is only a short walk from the UNESCO world heritage site of Reggia di Caserta. Go and see it, totally amazing.
I liked the fact that the furnishings were of a vintage period, in wood. I liked the colours used, extra blanket was real wool, nice and warm, all this was a pleasantly different experience from most other hotels which are very impersonal, synthetic and cold
Great location if you are visiting the Palace. No parking at the hotel but there is a huge underground parking a block away. Walking to the palace takes 10 minutes and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Breakfast was ok.
Tropicana is in the very center of Caserta with views of Reggia palace from the balconies. The staff speak very little English but are extremely helpful nonetheless. Rooms look brand new and very comfortable.
Great, clean place with plenty of room and located very near the old town of Caserta. The host was also very friendly and helpful. Would definetly repeat if I ever go back to this small but beautiful city.
We found an excellent restaurant, with local food and the most welcoming and hosts, Michele la Cremeria in San Leucio. It was about a 20 minute walk from the hotel.
