Very noticeably friendly and helpful staff from the beginning. The restaurant is lovely and the food is excellent! Very competitively priced too.
Clean, with courteous staff, couldn't fault it.
The rooms are clean, comfortable, quite a good size, and quiet.
We will definitely be visiting again!

It was a budget, enroute stopover, and as such was a gamble. It was good to see that renovations were underway, and we enjoyed a new shower room. The owners and staff are very kind. The restaurant is vegetarian and alcohol free.
We did enjoy a lovely breakfast.
The owner kindly gave us a 2nd choice of room in the cottage to the rear, away from road noise.

We have used the restaurant many times. It is one of the reason we like to visit this part of Scotland. But this is the first time we have stayed in the Hotel and it will not be the last time. Fantastic

We liked the quiet location along with how close it was to the airport. They had an onsite restaurant/bar that was perfect.
It was family friendly and seemed to accommodate many traveling types. Meaning, with children (cabin style facilities ), people traveling in RV’s (they had RV Sites), couples, singles and or business people. We liked it a lot.

Room, breakfast, dinner all good. Swimming pool handy. Didn't use the gym but it looked well equipped. Car parking plentiful and free of charge. Access to hospital was primary reason for visit, as a relative was having care - extremely handy for that.

I am sorry the area was awful it was above an Indian restaurant and the corridor we had to go through was full of household rubbish and bags that were leaking the stairs were covered in grime and I have already reported on the inadequacies of the room I am trying to get a rebate but I will continue to post negative feedback until somebody contacts me with the view to sorting this out

No idea what the town is like as this was just a convenient overnight stay en route between Bournemouth and Oban. We only visited a local supermarket for fuel: Dumbarton had the best fuel prices seen on our whole trip though.

Some of it especially where the said apartments were was very run down. On the outskirts found a great hotel whose prices compared to the Loch Lomond Apartments was very competitive and offered breakfast, lunch and dinner at very reasonable price. Also room very spacious compared to the Loch Lomond Apartments where we had a king size bed and little other room. Definitely not a place you would want to stay for 4 nights. The name suggested that all rooms were part of an apartment when in fact we have a 10 x 10 room and a cupboard for the bathroom very dingy ad no space to swing a cat. I only weigh 90 kg but totally unsuitable if disabled - cant class as a walk in shower room as requested. Don't be fooled by the word 'close' either. Its not a road where you can park your car - It is a dingy entrance up to the flats above a shop! It reminded my husband of the old tenament properties that he knew as a child. Not recommended at all

Dunbarten has a very useful train station with rides to the Glasgow city center, coming in nearly every 30minutes.
It’s a very peaceful and serene town, with a well patronized shopping center.
Stores like Asda, Argos and Dominoes pizza, help get you covered on food, groceries and household items.
Lovely place, my young son loved it. Communication from the owner was good, I’m sure we would have been able to rate her excellent had we met but entirely understand not seeing people as often as usual under current circumstances. Property had everything we needed, good selection of DVD’s while we chilled out after a few days travelling around Scotland. Very convenient for Dumbarton supermarkets.
Beautiful apartment with everything we needed.
Very clean, with lots of cleaning products.
Great WiFi and TV options.
Good location.
Comfy sofa and beds. Sofa bed was the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on.
Good shower.
Good to have books and leaflets.
Quiet, peaceful area.
Within walking distance of local amenities.
Free street parking.
Excellent base for exploring and hiking in Loch Lomond area. Easy to get around to both sides of the loch and pretty much anywhere within the national park. Flat was huge, even bigger than expected and super clean. Asda open 24/7, as well as big Morissons and Lidl nearby. Would recommend anyone visiting the area.
Everything from the awesome view to having a house rather than a hotel for a holiday, everything we needed was in the house, stayed there previously and would stay every time we visit Dumbarton.
Very comfortable and well equipped. The studio was very well laid out and has good quality fittings. You can walk into Dumbarton along the river and Loch Lomond is a short drive away.
Nothing I arrived at the hotel within there stated check in time and the hotel was locked up for the night, staff were not contactable, I had to sleep in my car after a 4 hour drive.
It’s perfect for a family stay in a home rather than a hotel. The view is second to none and the location is great, Loch Lomond one way, the city of Glasgow the other.
Good location for exploring Loch Lomond, Glasgow and foray into the Highlands. Clean and well maintained property. Great speedy communication on our questions
Lovely comfortable and clean house. Very quiet area, great view and close to Loch Lomond. Everything you need kitchen wise and good internet and TV services.
Whiteleys cottage was beautiful, the bed was so comfortable , the surrounding area and horses were so nice , my kids had a great time , it felt like home
