Amsterdam is a wonderful city for a vacation, whether it be a day or two or a week or more. Many things to do in the city and getting around is super easy. Walking or biking around will take you to almost any museum or place you want to visit. The city has an extended night life with many restaurants, etc open until 10pm or much later. Bike travel is much more prevalent than in many cities/countries, so pay attention and learn to watch for the cyclists and you will have no problems. Enjoy all that Amsterdam has to offer!

Amsterdam was like mixing Switzerland with Las Vegas. I’ve been all over Europe and Amsterdam made me feel like I was new to the continent. I was so impressed and happy to be there. The window shopping was so fun. Don’t miss the tulip museum! A beautiful city and worth a visit.

I was there for a work trip, that thankfully had enough free time for me to discover the city. Lots of cultural things to do, felt really safe, public transportation is easy, reliable and not expensive. Went to the Concertgebouw, which is one of the concert halls with best acoustics in the world. Also great restaurants at all price points. And, do yourself a favor and do the boat tour along the canals... it's really a treat!

Amsterdam city center was very crowded.

Amsterdam city center was very crowded. Public transport was very good. The touristic places are almost walking distance from the central train station. I recommend Rijksmuseum for visitors, even if you don't like museums. The villages was very beautiful. You have to see the windmills. I recommend spending more time in the peripheral areas then the city center. Because the city center mostly has tourist traps. Villages and towns offer more refreshment and sightseeing.

The hotel & rooms are new, modern, very clean. We liked the big window/wall of the room and the view. The bed was very comfy. The location is super close to RAI train station and Europaplein Metro station - so getting anywhere is really easy. It was definitely a great choice for our stay in Amsterdam, we would definitely consider returning. It was much better value for money than the overpriced hotels in the overcrowded Amsterdam city center (all Amsterdam accommodation places are anyway expensive).

This is an exceptional property (villa) with an incredibly friendly and professional young staff. The attached restaurant and bar are a great added benefit as well. As a bonus there is a small (free) parking lot adjacent to the villa. This is by far the best value and quality of accommodations you will find in Amsterdam.......and it's only a short 1.5 mile walk to the city center. We took inexpensive Uber rides or walked so we could fully enjoy the pubs and coffee shops of Amsterdam!

This hotel was right in the heart of Amsterdam city centre. With a 10 min walk to the central station, within 5 min walk to the red light district and many other tourist attractions it was a great location. The bed was very comfy and had a good view out onto the main street. The hotel had in the lobby a small fridge with a range of drinks for a fee including beer and also was attached to an Italian restaurant. The breakfast was very good too to grab some snacks before heading out.

Comfortable, clean bedrooms and a decent breakfast. The daily room service did an excellent job. It was like having a new room every time. The staff were all really friendly. It’s a simple hotel, but a good one at that. It was ok value for money for Amsterdam. Perfect location if you want to be in the heart of things, clean and fairly modern, unlike many other hotels in the city center.
