The Cow & Calf by Innkeeper's Collection, hotel in Silsden

With views across Wharfedale, this 19th-century lodge is next to The Cow and Calf pub, offering hearty seasonal food.

The area surrounding the pub is beautiful and our room was very nice but cold. Absolutely no heating on. The pub was also cold. We were in Room 1 which was noisy throughout the night with the sound of possibly a generator. Didn't sleep at all well.

Very nice place although busy with through traffic and quite a lot of large heavy goods vehicles. Difficulty getting a meal on the Saturday night, two pubs not serving food and a small restaurant only serving cocktails. The fish and chip shop very nice. Lovely place to sit by the river and watch the ducks.
