The Aqua lodge was extremely clean and updated. They made use of every inch of space. The canal it’s on is very peaceful and quiet and a manatee would swim right next to our boat.

This was a great family vacation spot - we loved the pool, the dock, free coffee and kayak rental, manatee and iguana sitings. Location was super central and the room was clean and fairly comfortable.

Went to Bahia Honda State Park - beaches were ok. They offer paddle boarding and kayak rental there. went on several trails, which were nice. Went on the old 7 mile bridge (cloudy day), but didn't get to see sunrise. Drove out to see mini deers and got to see a glimpse of one (it was not near sunset or sunrise, which is the time they recommend you go to see them).Joo - 10Scored 10

We visited the Sea Turtle Recuse Hospital and it was amazing. They are doing such a great job . We ate at a lot of restaurants that was on our List and a few from recommendations from Jason ( Front desk Clerk-awesome guy). So I went down to get stronger coffee pods mentioning that I brought my own coffee.. 4 hours later they show up with a brand new quizenart coffee maker In the Box. The superintendent said yeah I like my coffee too so when you said that I felt like I should bring you this. Not to mention the beach to pool the bar and restaurant all on premises.
