Very noticeably friendly and helpful staff from the beginning. The restaurant is lovely and the food is excellent! Very competitively priced too.
Clean, with courteous staff, couldn't fault it.
The rooms are clean, comfortable, quite a good size, and quiet.
We will definitely be visiting again!

Room, breakfast, dinner all good. Swimming pool handy. Didn't use the gym but it looked well equipped. Car parking plentiful and free of charge. Access to hospital was primary reason for visit, as a relative was having care - extremely handy for that.

You can't really do anything like proper distillery visit due to pandemic, we took a taxi to Auchentoshan Distillery and Visitor Centre It looked more like Fort Knox, We had checked it was open, only to find it was just the shop. Not Good. Was really looking forward to website promise on educating us on smelling tasting and watching the process. Yet a few miles away TRNSMIT Festival was n full flow...absolutely crazy.

Convenient location to travel to areas.
Convenient location to travel to areas. Over Erskine bridge to Clyde shopping centre and golf course. Quick train trip from bishopton to Glasgow to do the hop on hop off bus which you should do over two days as there is loads to see. Short drive to Gourock outdoor pool via port Glasgow and Greenock. Make sure to grab a bite at Tail on the Bank in port Glasgow, large portions at very affordable prices while overlooking the water and boats.

The hotel driveway tells you right away...it is full of potholes and water. The hotel has the outdoor appearance of a multi-storey car park, totally run down and it can be seen from Erskine Bridge on the way in. The restaurant food was appalling! The one good thing is the staff are great. The lift wasn't working half the time and on arrival I had to carry a 2 day stay bag, coat etc up 8 flights of steps. I have a heart condition and cannot climb stairs. I got to my room and the keycard didn't work so I had to go back down to reception...fortunately a member of staff walked back up with me and let me in. The room was basic...lights did not work. I had 1 lamp and a bathroom light for the whole room. There was no way I could even think of using the leisure facilities (ha ha) as it the lift didn't work I couldn't get down there or back up. My favourite place was the exit door. Although I paid for dinner & breakfast for each night and morning after the first evening meal I ate out! Unless you have a car don't bother going here. The best thing about the hotel is the way out!

The food on the sat was terrible and and the breakfast on Sunday a disgrace. No milk...there was only one lift working and so slow. The shower was in a bath so unable to use as disabled and not like this on pictures. The hotel was shabby. Bins not emptied in and around hotel

Its not dear to stay if you want a cheap night .
Its not dear to stay if you want a cheap night . Facilities were probably great in their day but like the rest of the hotel it's getting a bit tired. Staff are very good and breakfast is standard for the price your paying. If its a "luxury" night away then Erskine is not the place.

Could be a lovely place as setting nice on the river but overall it is a bit tired and rough around the edges but the staff are very nice and if travelling for work or just need a place to put your head it is fine. Lovely area to walk the dog or just walk along the river.
The hotel is under new ownership and is undergoing refurbishment. This is going to take a long time, but our room was not to bad, only had a large stain in the middle of the carpet. Chipped bath and green stain indication dripping tap. Hairdryer had seen better days. But you got a new kettle and 2 lots of tea, coffee, milk and sugar. When booking, I missed the house rule of no pets, but they accepted my Labrador dog without hesitation when I arrived. Shame I can't go back any more.
The hotel itself seemed very outdated, the TV in my room was infinitely worse than the ones in another guests however this shouldn't be a problem to anyone visiting erskine. So much to do outside like I did. Long walks across the beach and speaking to locals, was even invited to join some moldovian people at their bbq which made that weekend one of the best I've had so will always be glad I chose this hotel rather than any other for my impromptu outing from Glasgow.
Staff exceptional. From the minute myself and my friend arrived the staff couldn’t be more helpful. Lovely room, lovely view. Great facilities. Very clean hotel. Staff very informative. Short walk to shopping plaza with all amenities near, petrol station near. Was able to get a good relaxation as very quiet inside hotel.
The location Is fab, lots of green areas around the hotel. The pool is great and the changing rooms were clean. Shops, take aways etc were close and only a 10 min walk away. Staff accommodating and friendly. Beds were relatively comfy. We will be back.
Absolutely perfect location next to the Erskine Bridge and Loch Lomond just a short drive. This pet friendly hotel, although rather dated, was clean & tidy and the staff were very helpful. We will definitely be back next time we travel to Scotland.
Easy to find - not far from the Erskine Bridge. Good location for an overnight stop on the way to the Highlands. Staff very helpful - explained about evening meal issues - but they did sort it. And breakfast was Great.
Very clean and fresh looking. The shower was lovely and powerful too which was a great bonus compared to hotel showers. Easy to find and access from instructions given.
Mattresses very thin, room very dated, entrance road to the Hotel a dumping ground with old Mattresses and junk lying on the verge, entrance road badly potholed.
