Lovely old coaching inn located to experience the Cotswolds at your own pace. Management and staff were wonderful. We couldn’t have asked for a more enjoyable five days. The cozy bar was very relaxing.

The staff were absolutely superb. Shout out to Lauren who really looked after us. The pub is lovely and the rooms were great. Breakfast was of the highest quality and we can't thank the team enough for everything they did to make us feel welcome.

Make sure you go on market day in summer and take a cool bag to make the most of the produce. Check out the yarn shop - a fantastic spot for knitters. Take time to wander round the town and have a look at the almshouses to see what social housing used to look like.

I’ve travelled to Chipping Norton for work over the years it’s a place I’ve always enjoyed travelling to, I took my partner for a rare night away. She agreed it’s a beautiful place even the new builds blend into the scenery and there are so many different places to go off and see

There are lots of local attractions in and around the town.
There are lots of local attractions in and around the town. the locals are very helpful and pleasent. The one problem we found was the lack of ATM's only one was available. Local bakery and other eating places were excellent.

The room was very large and traditionally furnished. The bed was very comfortable . The shower was adequate and we had large fluffy bath towels . The pub is situated right in the centre of Chipping Norton and very convenient for trying out the local bars and restaurants. We particularly enjoyed Whistles and Alberto's. Comfortable enough given the price, but gives the impression that they built the hotel and the golf course, but didn't quite get around to furnishing the rooms. The front desk staff was about the friendliest I've experienced, and allowed for late check-out which was very helpful.
