The property was well placed, on a river for which we had a lake view which was lovely. Spa facility was really nice although almost cost as much as proper, don’t really think it was worth £50pp at all unless treatments already included
Set on the banks of the River Leven. The hotel has 2 restaurants, The Riverside Restaurant and The Dolly Blue Bar & Grill. Access to Cascades Health and Fitness Club is included for all of our guests....

Location was fantastic, the river and the train line going past, and nice and close to Windermere. The price for breakfast included was amazing. Also inclusion of the spa and pool was great, it's lovely to see an old building still being used.

We liked the location, facility inside the hotel, the family suite which was having good privacy. The view outside the room was amazing particularly while enjoying the hot tub. Breakfast was good, we enjoyed every bit of it. Plenty of parking space.

Fantastic location with great views. Comfortable, spacious and clean. But the best part has to be the people. Dylan is a credit to his parents. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect and we can’t thank him enough for his generosity and help. Legend!

It was right next to the lake ferry giving easy access to other parts of the lake. Vouchers were given for the car park very close by.
there was a great path, one mile long leading to Newby Bridge, where we sat outside by the river with a relaxing drink.

A pleasantly situated hotel on the river.
A pleasantly situated hotel on the river. Our room was large and overall comfy, with a great bed. However, we found the hotel overpriced particularly foodwise which we felt was of standard quality. We had numerous negative feelings and left a day earlier. The hotel did refund a days stay which was good of them. My husband and I have much experience of hotels, Food service, customer service and felt this hotel could be so much better if they revert to first class service. I would not choose to stay there again, sadly.

The only negative was that the lakeside allowed Dogs in the hotel. I love dogs but think when you go to an expensive hotel you don’t need dogs staying in the bedrooms.
The Huntsman pub was very good for food.
While we were eating our meal there were 3 dogs running around the pub and not under control.
This was bad owners not bad dogs.
Beautiful location
Modern rooms with great facilities (ironing board, tv in room, tea/coffee, biscuits, shower gel, shampoo etc). Very clean and spacious rooms. Large modern bathroom. The bar and restaurant is lovely and modern. We didn’t eat at the hotel but the food looked and smelt great. The views were beautiful of the lake on the other side of the road and it was very quiet. Staff were friendly. My husband and little 8 yo boy made use of the swimming pool and jacuzzi. Very Covid secure and would definitely recommend. We would stay here again.
The staff were very helpful and pleasant. Food was amazing. Lovely evening meal and choices were great . Lovely self serve breakfast too in the morning , would of preferred better continental selection though. Location is pretty good as you can jump on the newby bridge halt just across the road and it takes you to lakeside aquarium. You can also get a boat over to Bowness from there too. Rooms were clean and had most requirements. However duvet was exceptionally thin but did have an additional blanket we could use.
Nice cosy B&B 20 min drive from Bowness-on-Windemere. The room was warm, which was a relief after getting wet during the day. Small bathroom but fine for a weekend. There is only a big overhead shower, no handheld one (personal preference). Colin was super nice and we were able to change our BF time to early morning so we could make the most of the day. He offers a good choice for BF with various cereals, musli, fruit, toast and English BF. Parking is easy on the property. I'd stay again.
Our stay was lovely! couldnt recommend Newby Bridge Caraven Park enough. After needing to change the date due to the loss of my Father the staff were so helpful. The caravan was lovely spacious and modern and the little touches of the bag of treats/toys for our dog and the bottles of prosecco on arrival were extremely thoughtful. This is the 2nd time i have stayed and will definately be back.
Good location next to river. Nice comfortable hotel lounge and room. Very good food. Bonus of a jacuzzi and pool. Not as fancy as some other spa hotels but excellent value for money for three of us sharing one room. Helpful nice staff - the receptionists even allowed me to keep my paddleboard fully inflated on the conference room overnight, which was very accommodating.
We liked the location by the river. Room was lovely and spacious. However, booked a Sunday night on a Bank Holiday weekend and the hotel felt a bit overwhelmed. Staff were lovely and tried. their best in exceptionally busy circumstances. Food was good in the Restaurant.
Loved the location , restaurant was excellent!

and very peaceful ❤️
A very well managed hotel and restaurant, with excellent facilities and location. The Spa and treatments I experienced were relaxing and de-stressing. The room was quiet and spacious, and had a great river view.
The room was lovely and very clean. We had plenty of space, and the bed was very comfortable. The facilities were fab, really enjoyed the swimming pool. We had breakfast every morning and it was great.
We paid for superior room.
Often that is a slightly bigger room.
This hotel it is a jacuzzi bath, a lake view and a 4 poster bed.
Breakfast also a decent buffet style.
