The place is lovely, clean and their restaurant has great food. The location is great to discover the area such as the Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove Beach, Lulworth Castle, Cerne Abbas Giant or Badbury Rings. It worth to visit the Sculpture by the Lakes as well. Fantastic bonus that hey have electric car chargers in their parking lot, so you can just plug in for the night and off to explore next morning :) Highly recommend the place!

We were looking for a mini break late November and stayed 2 nights at Cottars. Great location for many places in the Purbecks. We thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing break and Cottars was a big part of our overall enjoyment.

The kitchen is very well equipped.

The kitchen is very well equipped. The rear garden is very long and in warmer weather would be delightful. The living room is spacious and with an open fire burning was warm and cosy. Guest should be aware that the staircase is narrow, very steep and spiral so not suited for those with mobility issues. It was a great base for us visiting Lulworth Cove.

The tank museum nearby is the reason for our travels, however Winfrith Newburgh has practically convinced us to move to Dorset! It's such a beautiful place in the UK with gorgeous access to the coast, and wonderful rolling hills.

I booked Marley House as a base for visiting Weymouth but Marley House is in such beautiful surroundings, we also visited the village and church etc. we also had a meal at the Red Lion pub, expensive but good food. Winfrith is easy to get around by car and/or walking. We found a lovely footpath into open fields, wonderful for Florence our little dog. On our next visit, I’d visit at the beginning of summer for better weather.

Perfect location in a really peaceful and tranquil setting.

Perfect location in a really peaceful and tranquil setting. On the doorstep of Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door, Monkey World and so many other beautiful locations. Perfect if you love walking which I do. Brought some of my own food as self catering, but we ate at a lovely little cafe / restaurant at Lulworth Cove, and there are pubs close to Nutley Farm too.

We would completely recommend Nutley Farm for anyone who wants a quite and peaceful stay away from the rat race, and wants to take their dogs with them. We tried a couple of local pubs unfortunately the one we eat in was not up to standard and the other one was closed due to a special function. You can get to other places within 30mins. in Wareham, Weymouth & Dorchester and Wool which is only 15mins away has a good small supermarket + a pub + a Chinese takeaway.

What is not to like? - Great hosts, beautiful location, the room (and the hotel) decorated and furnished to a very high standard, and the bed.... sooooo comfy! (great blackout curtains too) Would definitely stay here again - situated 10 mins drive from Jurrasic Durdle Door Beach and walking distance to a really friendly pub (Red Lion) We highly recommend 👌 👍 👏 to anyone - also dog friendly - the grounds of the hotel are very peaceful and next door to an old stone church - just lovely

All good. Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Easy to find. Good parking arrangements. Rural scenery from room. Continental breakfast was just right with croissant, homemade bread, cereal and yogurt. Close to many of Dorset's attractions including the sea! Very comfortable Otty bed. So good I'm going to buy one. Room wasn't "en suite" but had my own bathroom across the hall so no issue there. Bathroom was excellent and very clean and spacious
