The Sagamore Hotel Very good 8 The Sagamore Hotel is definately of world class status. From the moment we arrived the staff were cautious, the service from reception to departure was superb. We will highly recommend this hotel to our friends and family who travel a great deal.
Bentley Hotel South Beach Good 7.5 This hotel was in a perfect location, close to all of the nice resturants. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean as well as the room.

Fontainebleau Miami Beach Very good 8 The staff was very attentive and helpful. Hans who worked at beach was awesome. So friendly and very attentive and helpful. He made our stay so enjoyable. I would definitely come back again!
Catalina Hotel & Beach Club Pleasant 6.8 I was so impressed when I got there. I live in Europe and most of the hotels are much worse than what they look on the website, but Catalina was way better. I really enjoyed my stay.
Chesterfield Hotel & Suites Good 7.4 Check-in was extremely fast. We were instantly upgraded to a King Suite. The room was clean and modernly designed with sleek upgrades! We also loved the rooftop! The location is perfect as it is only one block from Ocean Drive. Also, the complimentary happy hour was a fabulous perk. We will definitely stay again on our next visit to Miami.
Clevelander Hotel Very good 8 The hotel was amazing and the staff was very friendly. Also Jermaine Jordan with rock star suites was amazing in making our anniversary special. He went beyond expectations to detail and made our visit the best stay by far anywhere. Thank you so so much. He is an added value to your company.
Seagull Hotel Miami Beach Okay 5.7 I'm certain most of you have read about the complaints etc, and they are real. The A/C units are noisy (but effective), the ancient carpet smells, there's only one functioning elevator and the outlets are nearly falling out of the walls. Now, consider that the hotel is going to be renamed and undertake a MAJOR remodeling, starting in just 3 months (April '14). Why would a hotel replace dented doors and outlets and carpet when the whole place will be gutted? The hotel, for the price is in the absolute perfect location. You can walk easily to all of the hot spots in South Beach, the shore just 2 miles north are littered with jellies; not one was spotted or felt near the hotel. The garden area near the pool is beautiful, the pool reasonably clean for being outdoor right off the boardwalk and ocean. The mattresses were Very comfortable pillowtops with spotless sheets and the towels were also clean. We stayed twice in two weeks (before and after a cruise), in two different rooms, and both were identical with perks and problems. The TV has the basics, but anybody with a laptop, tablet or smartphone can stay entertained without it. There are two walgreens stores within 2-3 blocks; they carry an unusual variety of groceries, which we made use of for snacks and breakfast. If you plan on staying more than a day or two, buy a cheap foam cooler or two and use it to keep stuff cool (pop/milk). Dorm fridges may appear after the remodel. It is worth the stay, but be prepared for financial surprises from the area (not the hotel, everything was exact and upfront). Food and touristy items can be rediculously expensive or not adequately described. We paid for a $30 margarita to go with out $15 steak dinner because we didn't ask first. But this is not the fault of the hotel and is typical of ritzy areas where customers are expected to ooze money.
The Setai, Miami Beach Excellent 8.6 The level of service is truly unparalleled; it's the best hotel on the beach! The staff is highly attentive and extremely amenable; the food is great; the pools, beach access and location cannot be beat.
James Hotel Pleasant 6.9 Staying at Saint James was like stepping into "Alice in Wonderland": Magical. Everything about that little hotel will surprise you: Its intimate character, whimsical décor and huge old-fashioned rooms with amazingly comfy beds! If you are lucky you will meet lovely Vera, the "queen of the castle", who will treat you as if you were a long-time friend. A must for all fairy tales nostalgic and all those looking for something out of the ordinary.
