Great location; easy to find and convenient for public transport. Car park was spacious and quick to check in the car for the free parking. Really welcoming and helpful staff. Breakfast plentiful, tasty and well cooked (although hashbrowns a bit rubbery after sitting a while). Rooms were sizeable with plenty of sockets.

Pleasant, comfortable and warm hotel. Beds particularly comfortable. Good sized room. It is on the site of the Roman wall and remains. Really good breakfast. Helpful staff.

We didn't actually venture into Great Corby itself as we stayed at the string of horses, and travelled over the border to Gretna Green and Dumfries, which were within easy reach by car. We also visited Hadrian's wall. A lovely area.
