Location was good, the price was excellent and the old style bar was well stocked with good beers.
The bedroom was big and the bed comfortable too. The power shower worked well and the overall comfort of the accommodation was good.

We liked that the local parking we used for the van was even accessible for campers. The community was really friendly, lots of people with dogs going about their day. The local Booths was a great place to get meals. We liked the kitchen so much that we didn’t go out for food locally but both pubs in the area looked quality! The roads there are small but manageable and that’s the feeling you want from a place like that anyway. I like that ours close enough for a day out around Malham. The crag walk at the top of the village also suffices for a viewpoint.

Great little town with good amenities.
Great little town with good amenities. Lot of great walks nearby. The Talbot pub good atmosphere and food, the Old naked man cafe and shop is good but have a look down the backstreets for small local independents. A walk along the river and into nearby Giggleswick is worth a visit, find Russel Harty's grave in Giggleswick church yard and have a pint in the Black Horse next door

I have never seen so many quilted jackets and boots! lol VERY popular with walkers but very quaint and bijou. It's perfectly formed and self-contained but not many options of anything Three pubs and about thirty shops. It ain't Las Vegas! but that's its charm.

Settle is a lovely and friendly market town.
Settle is a lovely and friendly market town. There are lots of great places to eat - the sit-in fish and chip shop was wonderful and Sunday lunch at the Golden Lion was great value. There are walks, of all ability levels, from the town and the Victoria Hall offers great live entertainment. There are some nice independent shops, great local butcher, as well as a couple of good supermarkets. All in all, a great place to visit.

There are lots of shops, except charity ones, just Age Concern and Swimming Baths ones. Plenty cafes, pubs, good chippy {Fisherman} but locals are not friendly. Dislike tourists? Come from Clitheroe and locals TALK to them. Not here.
The hotel is situated next to a main road, approximately 15 minute walk to Settle. There are ample parking spaces. There is also a large beer garden at the rear of the hotel. Our room was very spacious and clean. Although it was on the road side of the hotel little traffic noise could be heard. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We had a meal in the restaurant and a large English breakfast the next morning, both were excellent.
Breakfast was very good. Hosts were very friendly. Lovely big room & ensuite. Spacious & comfortable guest lounge with lots of maps & walking guide books. to borrow. Log burner for winter time. Fabulous views. Very quiet and peaceful. Walks straight from the door. B&B is in a small hamlet (no through road), so no passing road noise. Easy to find. Plenty of places to eat wihin a few miles (Settle).
This is a self-catering style holiday rental. A riverside location on the edge of Settle, it is a pleasant and convenient location. The town centre is a short walk away, and there is an immediately-adjacent route to the Ribbleside pathway and, from there, into the Dales. The apartment has two adequate double bedrooms, wardrobe space and a well-equipped kitchen with a comfortable sitting/TV area.
Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. Beds are extremely comfortable we had a great nights sleep. Good location for walking, we found some really good walks in settle on all trails. The breakfast is amazing. Never had a breakfast included in a hotels price and be so good, definitely set us up for a day of walking. Will definitely return
Excellent location with all facilities nearby - supermarket, pub, eateries and petrol. Easy access for all the surrounding sightseeing. Quiet area, lovely comfortable bed and amazing soft pillows. Ideal base for exploring the dales. Looking forward to returning in August.
Excellent breakfast.
Hotel is located very close to Giggleswick Station.
This was perfect for ending my short hiking trip and taking the train home after a good night’s rest at the Craven Arms.
I will book there again next time I’m hiking in the area.
Great location for getting out into the dales. Great hotel and staff and a great price. Large room with nice large window and seat, looking out onto the road. Staff really nice and friendly made me feel at home. Room is modern and well decorated.
Fabulous manor house that has been beautifully converted to a hotel and restaurant/bar. It is also a wedding venue. The real candlelight every evening is magical. The staff was attentive yet not invasive. It was relaxing to be a guest there.
Excellent and very welcoming staff, in all areas of the hotel. Better than expected rooms, although we had some traffic noise in the bedroom, from being on the front of the hotel. Everywhere was well maintained and very clean. Great location.
Perfect location close to the town centre but tucked away in a quiet area with a great cafe opposite. Attention to detail was spot on-well equipped kitchen and cosy lounge and sleeping quarters. Nice decor and comfortable bed.
I've stayed here before, so happy to come again. A great location for the area. Friendly staff and good choice for dinner. The room was warm - and the duvet made it very warm - and comfortable, and the facilities great.
Good price in that area and not far from some of the attractions like Craven Lime Works, Victoria Cave and Malham Cove. Peoples are friendly, small local pub inside the hotel are nice. enjoyable good quality breakfast.

It’s spacious, nicely done & right in the middle of Settle. Nice big TV! Paper towels in the kitchen. Salt and pepper also in the kitchen. I liked the little lamps on the nightstands that you could dim.
Great location for doing the 3 peaks, hotel staff lovely and helpful, let us put sandwiches in the fridge and left breakfast out for us in the morning. Great shower and white company toiletries!
