Golden Leaf Parkhotel im Lehel with its 57 rooms lies in a tranquil artery of the Lehel district, one of Munich´s most refined and stately Quarters. A short walk takes you to the center of town. An added bonus is our proximity to the renowned English Gardens and the Hofgarten (Court Garden). Having a U-Bahn station handy puts all of Munich at your disposal without need of a car. The staff all spoke good English , were more than helpfull , the rooms were comfortable , the car parking on site was good and the continental breakfast was very acceptable. The rooms were quite with no traffic noise.

Probably a little remote from the main city , But public transport was close.

Very close to subway (u-bahn); walking distance to downtown Munich and the English Gardens.

Did not find the receptionists very friendly but they weren't necessarily unfriendly. Seemed like they just did the bare minimum though--I sometimes felt like I was bothering them if I had to trouble them with a question...

Small hotel with friendly reception staff; breakfast

Maids barged into room in the morning when "do not disturb" sign and chain lock on the door! Room was functional but not well decorated.

friendly staff

the coach coming with the "club room" (familly) was payed additionally and did not provide anything - too small for rest, meaningless for kids.. ?

Location (close to U-Bahn), quiet and availability of parking.

At 12 euros per person, the breakfast is beyond expensive. Better option is to walk to the San Francisco Coffee Co (near Lehel U-Bahn) for java and pastries.

Quiet area, easy walking distance to Marienplatz, English Gardens, Residenz, etc. Double room very good size with comfortable beds, bathroom had bath and large bath towels.

It was in a nice area, easy to get to, and to visit the rest of Munich from. The breakfast was very good indeed, and the room extremely comfortable. And it had a bath!
