The view from out bedroom window overlooking St Ives harbour was fabulous, went to sleep and woke up with the waves hitting the rocks below us. Sadly balcony was shut due to windy weather.
No extra cost for a cooked breakfast. Good choice of menu for lunch/supper.

The design of the room is absolutely on point! The room has wonderful details.
The bed is amazing…so comfortable!
The location is great and was a plus that the restaurant was opened our first night there, our meal and wine selection was very good. Was a bit disappointing to not try more on the menu! The host is very friendly and helpful. There is a parking lot not far away, very convenient.

We had a wonderfully restful night’s stay in a junior suite. The views were phenomenal. The suite had everything we needed, and more. The pantry with lemon drizzle cake in the afternoons was one of the many highlights of our stay.

Location is great. Room was on the 3rd floor with no elevator. However, it was worth the hike. Room was very comfortable with amazing views of the town and the sea. When we checked in, we were given a free drink coupon. Hosts were very friendly and eager to offer tips on local dining options. Breakfast was ordered off a menu and was quite delicious. Hosts couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating

Fabulous!! A wonderful range of beaches and restaurants. Tate St Ives, the Barbara Hepworth Museum, the Leach Pottery and Penwith Gallery are all highly recommended. We had the privilege to watch the RNLI crew return from a shout - so utterly professional and inspiring. Do visit!!

St Ives is a very pretty harbour town with plenty to see and do.
The pubs and restaurants are very good and there are many nice beaches to visit. Public Transport is pretty good to get around surrounding areas without the need of a car.

Quaint, clean, picturesque, plenty of food outlets of all types.
Too many people in town.
Porthgwidden beach is not well known, not crowded and has good restaurant and bar etc. Other beaches are very good as well.
Parking is not easy, but e had a reserved plot. The county council could improve this and as a local councillor I have advised them how.
Accommodation is excellent.
Fairly easy to get to by car or train or bus.

We had a 'Bay View' room, but the window looking over the Bay was 'sprung', so there was just condensation and we couldn't see anything. Frankly this was very disappointing as we had paid for a Bay View room but didn't get a proper view. I wish I had pointed this out when we checked out as I feel we should have had some money back as a result. Also, there were no proper lights in the room, so we couldn't read in bed. Also, why do English hotels insist on double quilts? These are unheard of on the continent - people have their own quilts - for goodness sake Harbour View catch up with the times!

The property I booked was outside the town of St Ives in a place called Consol. However, was advertised as being in St Ives. There was builders rubble in the parking space. I was told that my 'private entrace' was through the french windows of the property and I would not, as a single traveller, have felt secure in such a situation. I did not stay at this property and would be pleased to receive a refund please.

Overall very enjoyable very friendly staff we had breakfast for 3 morning plenty off and was kept warm very good options of cereal fruit, yogurts and bread, fruit juices. We had 1 evening meal three courses very good meal hot and quick service.
Tregenna exceeded our expectations. A very warm welcome from the Receptionist who gave us all the information we needed for our stay. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The hotel is situated in beautiful grounds with stunning views. An excellent breakfast sat at a table overlooking the fantastic beaches across the bay. A lovely warm indoor pool. It was very reasonably priced for what was provided at this beautiful grade II listed hotel.
Highly recommend
The place is not a hotel as it is mentioned. It is more of a Bed and Breakfast place.
The landlord is really super friendly and accommodated us very well.
She is very helpful to understand our needs for the breakfast.
The breakfast is very good and homemade.
She is able to accommodate us even when we checked-in late in the night.
The location of the house is another plus, if you are ok with visiting the nearby shops by walking.
Clean, warm and furnished well. Had all the facilities and space needed for a family getaway. Lovely outdoor space for the children to play in. Walked into St Ives (and back!) along the coast - the children loved it. Plenty to do and explore. Plenty of parking (albeit slightly away from the property but this didn’t bother us). Taxis back were fairly cheap (after a family wedding). The children can’t wait to return.
Whoever conceived and decorated this hotel had exquisite taste. The bedroom and restaurant were lovely spaces to be in, and to look out of at the incredible view. Breakfast gets a special mention. It is far superior to a buffet: you just get given a comprehensive a la carte menu and order whatever you want. As for the staff: what a team the management has assembled!
We loved everything about Harbour View House. Every detail had been considered, the beds were super comfortable and the shower was really good. The hotel had an amazing view of the harbour, the whole place had been tastefully designed and the food and drink was a really high standard. The couple that run the place are so nice. Would 100 percent stay again.
The location was amazing. The hotel was lovely, clean, and had great facilities. The room felt luxurious. We had bottles of water in rooms provided, and the bathroom had toiletries, which smelt amazing. Robes and slippers provided for the spa. Mini bar if needed. The food was tasty. Staff were really friendly and helpful.
It was adequate, no frills accommodation. I suppose you don’t visit Cornwall to stay at the accommodation?
There was a lovely woodland walk which was beautiful in the evening sunshine and you will be a short car journey away from Saint Ives or the bus leaves hourly. It was well connected. These were all very positive things
Location in a quiet area, 10-15 minutes walk to train station and Carbis Bay beach, bus stop for St Ives and other Cornwall destinations in front of the B&B. Shop (small supermarket) next door. Nice and friendly owners. Small issue with door hook hanging loose was immediately fixed after we reported it.
Lovely luxury suite located in heart of St Ives. Close to train station, restaurants, shops, beaches, etc. The owner was very accomodating and welcomed us upon our arrival, especially when our personal travel plans changed with bringing our baby. Amazing furnishings and amenities in the terrace suite.
the location was perfect - a slight view of the ocean from our room and a short walk to the beach, to the heart of St. Ives, and the train station.
the staff was very kind and professional, and the breakfasts each morning were delicious.
The hotel was in the most perfect location. Close to the town beaches and for us the railway station. Our room had a fabulous view of the bay and beach. Couldn't fault anything really.
Lovely hotel and staff located in a perfect part of Cornwall. The views are as good as they look and without doubt, the food was some of the best we've had, anywhere.
The style and facilities of the room were amazing, very spacious with everything that was needed during our stay. The location the hotel was in was also bonus!
The family that ran the hotel were extremely accommodating and the property and room were stunning. Far exceeded our expectations. Would highly recommend.
