The area was beautiful for nature and walking we loved that. The caravan catered to the needs of self service and was comfortable with everything you needed, there was extra blankets and cleaning products. Thank you for letting us stay

Received directions and lockbox pin code almost instantly, was able to store my pedal bike on the patio, the caravan was spotlessly clean and the wifi was fast, theirs a Smart TV with free view, I used it to watch YouTube, appliances were easy to use, fresh milk of my choice was waiting in the fridge along with quality biscuits, the place is scenic, I was able to get fresh sea air whilst I rode my bike around the coastal path, exactly what I was after for a overnight static caravan stay.

Loved the location and how it was dog friendly. The caravan was clean, tidy and spacious. Everyone we met on the site was super helpful and friendly. Close to shops so you can do a food shop and all the stuff in the kitchen needed to create the meals.

    Didn’t have anything interesting in the town itself it was quite run down.. which was disappointing.. but over all it hasn’t put us off as a family to visit again in the near future to have another holiday at port haverigg marina village..

    It was quite a way from the town( and through some of the old industrial estate), but dont be put off as the view from the house, a stone throw from the Duddon estuary and the backdrop of the mountains was just superb.

    Not easy to find anywhere to eat in Millom on Monday or Tuesday. The Tiny Little Cafe near Tesco's was amazing value with simple but tasty food. Dotties Fish & Chips were excellent when we couldn't find any bars or restaurants open/serving food in the evenings. People helpful. Lovely coastal walks & wildlife.

    Not much in Millom itself but plenty to see and do in the...

    Not much in Millom itself but plenty to see and do in the surrounding area. Narrow gauge railway at Ravenglass is stunning, we also visited wastwater , and Ulverston which is a lovely little town. We ate at the ski bar on the site and the harbour hotel port haverigg, both were nice but slightly more choice and better service in the harbour hotel.

    One of the most beautiful and unique place in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 lake view and sea view at the same spot. Hundred times better than Windermere. We spent quality family time in peaceful environment. Kids liked it as well as my daughter said she can live there forever ❤️

    The caravan is comfortable, clean, warm and very quiet with a Mountain View. The location is very quiet, situated right next to nature reserve with a lot of peaceful walks to explore right on the coast. There is a nice bar/pub that does food also on the lake shore. The town is a short walk away ( but not too close) with shops a couple of takeaways and railway station which is ideal to use to explore the lakes west coast.

    Clean, fresh and bright airy room. En-suite was a lovely bonus. Light breakfast included. The property is situated on the coast, where its unspoiled natural beauty of the lake district flourish’s. We took some wonderful photos. Black Coombe mountain is visible from property. We were very welcomed by both Carol and David, who went out of their way to accommodate our needs.

    The property was just perfect for my Husband and I and our Labrador. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable living room and bedrooms and stunning views. So close to the beautiful beach walks in Haverigg, Millom and Silecroft. The host was extremely helpful and friendly too. Would highly recommend.
