Very welcoming staff. Nothing was a bother and all the staff happy to help. Good food freshly prepared. Bar was cosy and a nice place to relax over a drink before dinner. We had an early departure before breakfast and the lady on duty the night before insisted that they made fresh bacon rolls to take with us. Lovely thought and huge bacon baps!

30 Chipping Norton - Luxury Holiday Apartments, hotel in Chipping Norton

30 Chipping Norton - Luxury Holiday Apartments enjoys a location in Chipping Norton, 12 miles from Blenheim Palace and 21 miles from Walton Hall.

Solid parking, well laid out quarters, very clean, and the location was close to shopping. The hosts were also very helpful in getting the initial access sorted. The rooms also sit back off of the street, so we heard little noise from the outside. In addition, the back windows provided access to a very cool back deck while also letting in the light and fresh air.

A cute little country town with a few shops and pubs, and good access to other parts of the Cotswolds. There's a fantastic playground in Chipping Norton which I would highly recommend, and a free car park with ample spaces and toilets (20p to use)

Make sure you go on market day in summer and take a cool bag to make the most of the produce. Check out the yarn shop - a fantastic spot for knitters. Take time to wander round the town and have a look at the almshouses to see what social housing used to look like.

I’ve travelled to Chipping Norton for work over the years it’s a place I’ve always enjoyed travelling to, I took my partner for a rare night away. She agreed it’s a beautiful place even the new builds blend into the scenery and there are so many different places to go off and see

We stayed with our two big dogs at number 8 Harpers Yard. It’s a beautifully furnished one bed house which was ideal for our 3 nights’ stay, very close to the high street, Chipping Norton, yet so peaceful and quiet. The home had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing holiday. Great hikes nearby for us and the dogs to enjoy. A very comfortable bed with good quality bed linen and pillows. Two bathrooms with gorgeous showers. It has a tidy and well maintained outdoor patio which would have been great in sunny weather.

The Kings Arms was great! A bit of character, comfy room, great service from the landlady, Bridget. If you’re into bonkers luxury or you’re a fuss-pot it is probably not for you, but we wanted somewhere well-positioned (tick), clean and comfortable enough (tick), friendly (big tick) and ‘real’ (also big tick). The price was spot-on for what it was. Very happy to have chosen it.

It was so spacious. The fridge was large, the lounge was so comfortable and the outside yard was delightful on beautiful days. The bathrooms were great and everything was clean. You could live there for a month and be happy. We walked to town for breakfast and dinner and we were all very glad we stayed in Chipping Norton for our stay in the Cotswolds.

Great location in the centre of town. Staff super friendly and the venue is always nice and clean when we have stayed. The full English breakfast is epic and just what you need after a night on the town. Best rooms are on the beer garden side of the hotel as you will read in the next.

This beautiful boutique hotel is a authentic building that relives history - nestled in a small town uninterrupted by time. The surrounding English gardens and animals. It was separated from the touristy sites but easy access to traveling the Cotswolds.
