I’ve visited Morecambe several times and I love its British seaside charm. The beach and views are beautiful. Arcades are fabulous fun. A great selection of charity shops! Really run down.
Really run down. Only good thing is the beach and the flower beds. Most of the properties are empty and dilapidated. If you were depressed before visiting Morecambe then you would be after a day there. We did find an excellent Indian restaurant on Skipton Street. Well worth a visit. Room had two comfy chairs by a bay window where I had a cuppa looking out across the bay. Shower room was also a large size, lovely modern mirror with built in bright light. Bed was very comfy and I got a good nights sleep. Car parking was in a pay and display around the back £9 for 24 hours.
