Great position. Lovely to have larger rooms to accommodate our diverse family. Comfortable; good use of space; basic but totally adequate & beautifully done. Loved the guest service area.

Comfy and cozy with everything we needed, located in a nice village in a great location.parking was fairly easy to find. Great nights sleep in a quiet room and was warm. Tea and coffee options with additional biscuits and the toiletries were a really nice touch. Shower was warm and really powerful.

We were very impressed with the public transport very constant and very helpful bus drivers . Plenty of places to eat and drink . The only thing my Lady found a little bit concerning was in some of the vacant shops people sleeping in the door ways I appreciate they are obviously homeless but they all had mobile phones . Cigarettes and alcohol

It was a cold, wet and windy day so we spent very little time attempting to take a walk, but happily found the superb Sea Lane Cafe where it was warm and welcoming. Like everyone, we sat in the upstairs enclosed area, and enjoyed the most delicious soup. The cakes looked wonderful so we bought a couple of huge bits of bread pud to take away - also delicious.

Very nice, seriously cold in winter, but great for a quiet break. Worthing has everything required, plenty of food places and shops. Excellent theatre with great entertainment... Last weekend of every February having an all dayer of Rock n Roll. Easy access to rest of destinations on way to Brighton...... Loads of charity shops selling quality items. Tip.... Leave The Royal Beijing well alone. Food is seriously Not Good.

The town of Worthing has a sense of vitality and fun about it. The population is a mixture of ages and caters to a wide range of tastes. The shopping is pretty good. I love the seafront at Worthing. There is something very elegant about the layout and the plantation of trees and shrubs along the seafront gives it great character.
Good destination for kids of all ages with some well-managed and maintained playgrounds, the beach where sand is accessible at low tide and remarkable soft play and wall-climbing place in the outskirts of Worthing. There's theatre and cinema and the library has a great kids section. There are a lot of eating and drinking places available.

Worthing is a typical seaside town.
Worthing is a typical seaside town. The position of this property is foot steps away from the shingle beach and miles of promenade. There are more facilities now for the young in Worthing plus a free pier and a theatre which has a year round program. The 700 sea front bus travels all the way to Bright in one direction and to Littlehampton to the west.{It does go beyond to Portsmouth.

To be honest, I actually live in worthing, but stayed at the chatsworth hotel as I was getting married.
However, the sea front is a lovely place to walk with the family. The beach is great, very pebbley, but there are wide areas of sand. Several hotels covering various price brackets, lots of restaurants along the sea front. I highly recommend the arcade fish restaurant. A little pricey but the food and service and wonderful. The town isnt tourist centred, it's just your average south coast town, scruffy, not much to do, unless you you want coffee, second hand jewellery or phone repairs!
Living locally and having to stay somewhere due to building work for a few nights I chose the highdown as it was the cheapest and most convenient for me.
What I expected and what I got were two different things completely, the rooms are set away from the pub and have been tastefully decorated and furnished with quality fixtures, the bathrooms were really nice and the shower pressure was unreal ! The food was exceptional. This hotel and restaurant really is a hidden gem in the local area, kudos to the owners and team.
Excellent location to walk to bars/restaurants and Worthing seafront. All staff were very friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgeable on the ales they brew here. Decor throughout is quirky and original. Breakfast was plentiful and our sandwiches for lunch were amazingly tasty! Parking is no problem, loads of spaces. Outdoor area has plenty of seating including 3 outdoor booths that can be reserved…..it’s very dog friendly also. Really enjoyed my stay here and would highly recommend this wonderful place.
The hotel was steps from the beach and about a 10 minute walk into Worthing itself. The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was bright, clean and spacious and had everything you needed. The hotel was a little off the main road right by by the coast, but being a little out of town, it was wonderfully quiet for a great night’s sleep. We had a super breakfast - a little earlier than we might have chosen, but it set us up perfectly for the day.
The Chatsworth Hotel is located opposite the beach in Worthing. We payed extra for a sea view and were pleasantly surprised to have a spacious room with a very large window facing the water. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We were fortunate to find street parking on the road and since it was a Bank Holiday there was no cost. We didn't wander inside the hotel that much nor did we dine there. A strongly recommended, good-value location.
Lovely flat in a great location. Nice furnishings and equipment throughout. Excellent welcome pack provided. Parking available nearby. Shops and a pub nearby. It’s a short walk to the seafront and then an easy walk into Worthing or along towards Goring. Our host was very welcoming and helpful and we will definitely try to book again when we return to this area.
Location was off A27 Needed car to get to Worthing or any where else Pleasant pub with shady patio at back. Good selection of food on the menu food hot and well presented. Modern rooms in adjacent block . reasonable size and well furnished a bit better than the usual chain hotel room. Staff very helpful and friendly.
We had a very warm welcome and a lovely stay. Room very comfortable and friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was fantastic with a great menu full of choice. Although parking is first come first served there was lots of space and the hotel is very convenient for exploring Worthing. Would highly recommend.
We are moving to Worthing and stayed in several hotels whilst house hunting. This was the first time we stayed here and wish we had found it sooner ! Great hotel with lovely staff. I believe it recently had a refurbishment and they have done a fantastic job.
Perfect base for a family wedding - walking distance from the beach and main town, with nearby play area and amusement rides for our grandson. Very clean and welcoming - much better value for us than hotel rooms. Lovely 3 days in Worthing & Brighton.
A very pleasant hotel in a pretty seafront location with exceptionally accommodating and friendly hosts. My room was very comfortable and well appointed. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choices.
Great location very near the seafront but with off street parking available. Good breakfast available with an interesting and engaging host, who was always very helpful in answering our questions.
Hotel was adjacent to the pub so caused no problems. Plenty of hotel guest parking. Room was comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities.
Very good breakfast with good host
Nice comfortable old hotel with a quirky layout and rooms but well decorated , maintained and cleaned. Nice individual lounge , bar and restaurant rooms and a extensive menu.
It was lovely and clean and nice and warm inside the rooms.
Food was good.
Staff was very polite and always greeted you when you came in and out of the hotel.
