We will definitely be returning, everything was perfect The room was lovely, spotlessly clean and spacious The breakfast was absolutely delicious and all staff very friendly. Location was perfect, just a 5-8 minute walk from The Ship pub and the beach and tea rooms.

Nice room overlooking the river. Very peaceful and the view was beautiful. The room was spacious with lovely super king sized bed, comfy armchair and space for clothes etc. Bathroom was of a small lobby good size an great shower. Pub was very old did rally good food and staff were all friendly and helpful. Great place to stay.

Staff went the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable and relaxing. Manager accompanied me to my car which was parked outside to direct me to the hotel car park, just giving directions would be the norm at other hotels, but not at the Bell. Bedroom was spacious, clean and tge bed was very comfortable. The £15 full English breakfast was amazing.

Loved the warmth of the host, and the room itself was just what we needed for a quick night away. Ana found me some peanut butter when she heard me saying that I liked it, which was such a nice touch. The room was spotless and the sheets were comfy and clean.

We were going to a wedding nearby and frankly this was the only room still available within 15 mins drive. All we needed was somewhere to change, sleep, and a decent breakfast before we faced a long drive. It's a tiny end-of-terrace on a busy corner, but Steve the host was very accommodating and let us access the room early to get changed. The house is a Tardis - a decent sized comfortable room and large modern bathroom and we got a good night's sleep. We're not cooked breakfast eaters but we could have had a blow-out with locally sourced ingredients and the fresh fruit, muesli, pastry, coffee, etc was all excellent.

    The Fox pub serves excellent food and is right next to the property. In the mornings and evenings we felt safe walking our dog around Darsham. It was a great base for driving to the coast and exploring local towns.

    Quiet village location, lovely place to walk around and about.We wanted a relaxing break just pottering around and we had just that.There are lots of places of interest nearby if that is your choice. The room had helpful literature for the area.

    Very quiet, though building of new estate will increase traffic and near to pub, but not intrusive. Handy for southwold, and aldeburgh and dunwich very close indeed. Ideal area for exploring heritage coast.

    I`ve already done a review but would like to add, the service we got when we reported the light bulb was prompt, no fuss, Also the power switch for the shower was explained straight away and was the the same system as at home only in a slightly different place. The garden was a delight as was the view over the countryside.

    Quiet village just off the main A12 although you would not be aware of this. Easy access too many of the well-known places in the area (Southwold, Aldeburgh, Minsmere, Snape Maltings). Very nice evening meal next door at The Fox Inn - recommended.
