Loved the quaint shops and country town feel of the place. Knowledgeable staff in the WH Smiths newsagents and lovely lunch at the pancake place and craft shop. Park was a beautiful place to visit and there was a well used Turkish/pizza establishment opposite the road near the car park which we enjoyed eating at. If you want something cooked then there are options in the town. The rooms are clean and tidy but fairly basic. It is a good place to stay if what you need is a room without lots of extras - in my case I was visiting relations. It is a 'local' for many with a good bar and sport TV.
