This is not an unbiased opinion! I used to live and work in Crewe, and still make regular visits. It is an excellent base for travel in all directions, and so ideal for touring holidays, especially using train services. But the town has suffered from the delays and partial cancellation of the "High Speed 2" rail line, and changes prompted by the break up of British Rail. Rail House, the 12 storey office block by the station, is now a derelict eyesore although I understand that Cheshire East Council is endeavouring to address this.Guest review byDavidUnited Kingdom - 4.0
There is absolutely nothing of value in Crewe.

I liked everything. Obviously for the price I paid, I got lots of value. I just used the hotel to sleep and the room was perfect. The free parking was an amazing bonus and included breakfast.
