We stay here so that we can visit East Neuk Music Festival at the end of July. It is reasonably central for us,takes dogs. Also food is available for much of the day. The roads are quiet and the back roads even quieter. These take you to lovely places like Kellie Castle,Falkland Palace and Tentsmuir forest. The beaches and villages have a pleasant feel about them. You can even leave your car and use the frequent bus service. Especially useful for St Andrews Our beautiful golden retriever really appreciates rolling in the spikey grass at Bowhouse,which has good food,a butchers,bakers and live music.Guest review byChrisUnited Kingdom - 8.0

A comfortable hotel; our room was a good size, attractively decorated and furnished with a sea view and large balcony. The staff were very friendly, and both dinner and breakfast were good. Our stay was marred by a number of plumbing issues, which spoilt an otherwise enjoyable stay. We loved the lounge with comfortable sofas, large flat screen TV with lots of side tables to use. The room was quite large and so was the apartment itself. The place was ideally situated for beach walking and along the fife coast.
