So clean and updated! Our host is so welcoming and helpful! The town of Grantham is not known for being a popular tourist destination, but we had a lovely time exploring. There are several manors worth visiting a short drive away which we didn’t have time for. We went to the park along the canal and enjoyed watching lawn bowling and walking down the trail a bit. Our favorite part was the cathedral. It’s really beautiful inside and we happen to be there when the bells were doing a lovely concert that went on for a long time. It was so beautiful and a perfect backdrop to the historic scenery. Right across from Cathedral is Grantham Manor and the school, where Isaac Newton attended. Personally I love exploring, historic, beautiful places Without a crowd. We drove to town, but we could’ve walked.

Loved the rural location and village. Some nice room touches, like robes + good selection of teas, and fresh milk. The bed was super comfortable and the power shower very efficient. Lorraine, the owner, is friendly and helpful. General ambience in bar and dining areas is very good; the food and service excellent. After feeling some uncertainty on arrival we left with every intention of returning.

    The ambience of the pub and accommodation was very good. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a very generous full English, toast, fruit juice and choice of beverage. Very comfortable bed and generous size en-suite. Quiet, rural location. Evening meals good value for money and well presented.

    A quaint pub in a lovely village. The rooms & pub are very modern, comfortable and completed to a high standard. The pub has a lovely varied food menu, which I would highly recommend. The landlord makes you feel very welcome and nothing is too much trouble. A fantastic stay!

    The bedroom & ensuite was spacious & very clean. We really enjoyed our evening meal & had a very generous cooked breakfast. The staff were very helpful & courteous. Car park at back of hotel easily accessible. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.
