Jay, the manager was kind to upgrade my room which I enjoyed greatly for the 3 nights of my stay. The shower was incredibly satisfying. Cleanliness is at another level. Really impressive.

The staff was amazing. The person who checked me in was extremely helpful and pleasant. I love the attention to detail. The breakfast was excellent, along with the young ladies who replenished the food, they were engaging and were always available. Your hotel is substantially better than the Village Hotel, where I had stayed for 2 days prior. They lacked Air conditioning and their customer service was poor.

Some people may find that the M6 motorway side of the hotel a little noisy if they are a light sleeper, but that didn't affect me. As the hotel has good sound-proofing. Hotel is situated near a bus route for travelling either into Walsall or Wolverhampton. Food and alcoholic drinks are very reasonable in this establishment and of good quality

Didn't like the hotel as we discovered when we tried to check-in that they had given away our family room, so we had no where to stay that evening. They tried to offer us a double room, with only 1 double bed, which would not have been adequate for 2 adults & 2 kids. Hotel didn't phone me to check on our arrival time before they decided to give away our family room. Very poor service, won't be booking this hotel again!

Like so many towns right now, the centre was once bustling but has lost so many shops and has the sort of barriers to prevent terrorists and ram-raiders in vehicles, so depressing. On the plus side there is a fantastic art gallery, a leather museum, the beautiful "Arboretum" park, a decent Wetherspoons plus another real-ale pub "The Pretty Bricks", plentiful rail and bus transport and easy access to The Black Country Living Museum, Aldridge Transport Museum, Cannock Chase and Birmingham.

It was handy for me to meet up with a friend. Like so many towns it looks run down and the shopping area lacks any interest. Not many places to eat/restaurants that I could find. Nice Wetherspoons saved the day.

A superb area of The Black Country.

A superb area of The Black Country. Lots of great hotels and apartments to stay in, not too far from Birmingham, to reach by bus or train, to leave your car behind. Lots of great pubs, so no need to lower your standards by using a Weatherspoon's same with food, fantastic ethnic variety to choose from, so no need to lower your standards by using Mcdonald's or KFC.

The hotel staff were amazing, Josh checked us in and was extremely friendly and very helpful as my booking as a little complicated due to a last minute additional room. the hotel itself was very nice, I felt the room did show a little wear but was comfortable and clean, and the bed was nice too being just heh right firmness and having nice big pillows so you could get comfortable quickly. I would consider highly using Village Hotels in the future

The outside rooms are a hidden gem. They are so full of character, located in the remains of a church. My room was wonderful! Overall, this is a fantastic property. Staff were friendly, breakfast was excellent and it's on a direct train route to Birmingham airport! Why stay in the soulless hotels by the airport when you can stay in a fantastic place like this? This is my new "go to"!

From start to finish this hotel was amazing. We were able to check into our suite early which was a bonus. Our suite was beautiful. The spa was so relaxing. All the staff were so helpful and friendly. The bar area was relaxing to sit in and enjoy a drink. We had a meal in the restaurant. The food was cooked to perfection.
