I have stayed here before and it was just as good this time round. If you're looking for somewhere that you just stare at blank grey walls this is not the place for you! I love coming in and collapsing into a huge leather chair with a drink and looking at all the paintings and pictures. The garden is fabulous!

I think Bridgnorth and a wonderful town, absolutely fascinating, historical and colourful. If you're fairly mobile you can walk round the town easily. You can take the Cliff Railway up and down to the River Severn, walk also beside the river; either side of the river. Lots of things to see and do.

Bridgnorth is a beautiful historic town, convenient for visiting the Severn Valley, the Ironbridge museums and the Severn Valley Railway. Daniel's Mill is a lovely place for a light meal or refreshments in an idyllic location. A ride on the Severn Valley Railway is a relaxing way to enjoy the scenic Severn Valley. The Ironbridge museums are well worth visiting.

Beautiful Shropshire market town with some fantastic original features and historic buildings. The gorgeous Severn Valley Railway is on the doorstep and is highly recommended. Big open air market on Saturday, running the length of the high street.

A lovely, clean, friendly, vibrant and bustling little town.

A lovely, clean, friendly, vibrant and bustling little town. Nice to see no run-down or empty premises. The views from the High town are spectacular, as are the walks around the castle gardens and the quirky streets both in the town and leading to the low town. The funicular railway is a must. Shops and eateries are in abundance which ranges from coffee, breakfast, light lunch, takeaways, cheap bites to formal dining. The Castle inn provides delicious home cooked food in an inviting cosy traditional pub with low beams. Bridgnorth is well worth a visit, but be warned - you'll want more than a day trip here to sample all it's delights !

Although the room was a twin, it was not the picture on the confirmation. The hotel was very tired and neglected in both maintenance and cleanliness on internal structures. I wouldn't stay there again as they have no empathy of requests due to sudden illness. My son and his fiance had a second room ( I had booked for them ) but unfortunately had a serious bout of covid and was admitted to hospital only wanted to move the date but we were told they don't do that as people 'play 'them. They had already been paid for the room we didnt request a refund! so people be aware of whom you book with. Because of no reply from Booking.com either we most likely not book through them either....

The host communicated well and gave us useful local information and provided a contact number should we need her. Property located in Bridgnorth Low Town close to shops, bars and restaurants. Handy key pad entry. A superb sized bath and powerful separate shower. All was nicely appointed. A lovely little garden at the back of the property with table and chairs. An appreciative touch was supply of ‘goodies’ upon arrival.

The property was comfortable and well equipped. It had everything I needed for a short stay. The location was peaceful and convenient for the town centre, which is only 15 minutes walk away. The host was friendly and helpful and responded very quickly to a question I asked. I also very much appreciated having a designated car parking space, as parking in Bridgnorth itself can be challenging.

Good location from a central point of view to Bridgnorth town centre, it's amenities and places to visit. All were within easy walking distance. Accommodation was beautifully renovated and although the kitchen was small it had everything we needed for our weekend stay. Beds were very comfortable and the wet rooms in two of the rooms were excellent.

We were visiting the Haydn Festival and, although the hotel is in the Low Town, the venue for the Festival in High Town was only a short walk uphill ( or a 2 minute ride on the cliff railway) away. There was free parking at the hotel and our room was very comfortable with a 4 poster bed. The cooked breakfast was excellent .

Stayed for 1 night, very clean and comfortable. Had 2 rooms, spoke to Martin to arrange early check in and a bottle of bubbles into 1 room, very easy to do. Lovely freshly cooked breakfast and great place to eat or drink on the evening. Great location in low town right next to the river and only a short walk to high town.

We stayed there for 1 night but also ate there as we had a family get together. Carvery was amazing and great value for money. The staff were so friendly and could not do enough for you. We will definately go back and recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in a country location. Just a few minute drive from Bridgnorth.
