The oldest parts of the inn date back to the early 1600s and records show that there has been an alehouse on this site since that time. The bar is filled with authentic original character and history, with pictures on the wall, original documentation and memorabilia complementing the charming open fire and original flagstones. For the past 5 centuries, the Blue Boar has been welcoming guests in to enjoy its warm and friendly atmosphere.
