Great quiet location and views to the water from our room. You can spot Blackness castle across the way with binoculars. Room is spacious, simple and clean! Secured access entry. The cafe food and service was lovely and the young ladies working were very friendly and efficient. A walk over to the beach at sunset is recommended as is a visit to The Bruce Arms pub down the street (Megan and locals we so very welcoming!)

Not a big city , nice places to eat, fantastic big country park , near to city centre, absolutely wonderful, donated by Andrew Carnegie. Easy rail or bus travel to major cities, fairly reasonable prices, but don’t use ScotRail app, get paper tickets.you can travel on the buses all day for £ 11.50 pp. by purchasing a east of Scotland day rider ticket, good value. Plenty of decent shops and supermarkets close to hotel, lovely big church and abbey ruins close by.

A gem of a city, and a secret that now the people of Edinburgh are cottoning onto. It's got a beautiful Heritage Quarter with loads of trendy bars, cafes and restaurants. Fantastic old buildings, a huge amount of history and one of the most beautiful parks in the world - Pittencrieff Park - is glorious. It really is like a mini-Edinburgh without the fuss and crowds, and such a lovely place to hang out.

We travelled to visit Knockhill Racing Circuit for a booked experience day. Arrived on a lovely sunny day so decided to visit Pittencrief park on our way to the hotel (Adamson Hotel in crossford) where we had a great walk around the park and encountered many of the beautiful sights including the squirrels. All in all a wonderful visit and we will definitely be back at some point in the (hopefully not too distant) future

This is a period country house hotel in beautiful gardens. The rooms were immaculately clean, attractive large room with ample space and storage. The breakfast choice was excellent and service very attentive. We ate in the dining room one evening and the standard of cuisine and service was again excellent, a most enjoyable meal. We will be visiting Dunfermline often as our daughter has relocated there, and the Garvock will definitely be our place to stay, thank you to all the staff for your kindness and for making our stay so enjoyable.

Easy to find with plenty of parking, simple booking-in process, tidy clean room with good facilities, supermarket across the road and a restaurant 5 mins walk away. Dunfermline city centre is an excellent place to have a wander around with a lovely park and some very historic buildings and streets. A great place to stay whilst attending motorcycle racing at the nearby Knockhill Race Circuit.

Hotel was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. If we were coming back, as pensioners with bus passes we would come back on the bus, as the Glasgow to St Andrews luxury bus stops right at the hotel. There are frequent buses into dunfermline too. Communication and facilities were good too. We didn't eat here so can't comment on that.

Absolute fantastic wee hotel. Brent the owner went above and beyond for us. Rooms were spotless. Best hotel bed I have slept in, in a while! Bathroom modern. The hotel has a lovely warm charm to it. And it's quiet!!! All on ground floor so will come back with my elderly grandparents at some point.
