Really cosy country pub in beautiful Derbyshire countryside. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful and the room was spacious and very clean. Good choice of tasty pub food and exceptionally well kept real ale.

We stayed as we hired a room for a party. The room(s) we hired were just wonderful. We had the run of 4 interconnecting rooms all splendidly furnished and decorated with period ornaments and artefacts. The buffet spread was excellent and actually too much. We ordered a buffet for 20 people to cater for approx 30 who turned up and there was plenty left. The catering and bar staff couldn't do enough to help us.

I was very impressed with the friendly smiling staff who were very helpful and professional. The rooms were cleaned to a high standard and the coffee facilities were exceptional. The location was perfect for Derby town centre and it was 10 minutes away from a festival my family and I were going to. It is the first time I have ever stayed at the Ibis chain and must say it was great value for money. If you are looking for a clean room with shower/toilet with no frills, you can't go wrong. Great little hotel, spotless, freindly staff. Ideal for us to go to bloodstock festival.. Comfy beds and a good power shower. No kettle in the rooms but they provide free tea and coffee in the reception area. Can't fault anything about the hotel fantasic value.
