The staff were really really lovely.
Breakfast room is more modern than the hotel which was a very pleasant surprise when we entered it for breakfast. Breakfast was absolutely lovely. The staff served us with a smile. Which goes a long way.
If they could concentrate on updating the rooms just a little and sorting the bathrooms out, it would do great for them.
The bath panel isn't a big thing to change and would have made the bathroom a little more appealing.

Britain’s 4th most popular visitor destination, Bristol features Brunel’s magnificent Clifton Suspension Bridge spanning the Avon River. More Brunel handiwork is in the harbor, where his SS Great Britain steamship is moored. Pirate walks here detail the city’s underground naval history.
Further north in Clifton is the world’s oldest zoo outside a capital city. Other Bristol attractions include At-Bristol Museum and the Grade I registered historic Corn Exchange with its 4 "nails" outside where money changed hands. Also worth a visit is St. Nicholas Market, in a Georgian square home to several bars and a Slow Food Market on the 1st Sunday of every month. Other Bristol shopping options include shopping centers at Cabot Circus, and Cribbs Causeway on the outskirts.
As a student city, Bristol really comes to life after dark. The live music scene here is fantastic and has given way to several internationally known bands, but for something more alternative head to Eastside.
Another option for alternative-seekers is the work of hometown street artist Banksy. Just like Booking.com’s Bristol accommodations, his work is spread throughout this fabulous city.
This Gateway to the West Country is served by Bristol Airport and Temple Meads train station. The old Bristol to Bath rail line is now a cycle route and makes a great day trip.

First time exploring Bristol but we were only there for less than a day. What we saw was excellent, a vibrant city with lots of culture and things to do. Our experience was a positive one. The Bristol Beacon was a great venue to watch Paul Weller at and we had a lovely meal at Ciao in Denmark Street. Too many things on offer for our short trip. We will definitely be back for longer to see more that the city offers.

Clifton is a nice part of Bristol, lots of trendy cafes and bars. The Clifton Catholic Cathedral is well worth a visit - Brutalist in design but with fantastic stained glass built in the same era as Liverpool RC one, again in the round.

I liked the shopping in Bristol and the people were friendly. There are so many parts of Bristol that you would need a few days to see it all.
And of course its home to Banksy, which I managed to see. There is a lot of Graffiti Art, which is amazing, but there is a lot of 'normal' graffiti which is an eyesore.
The Clean Air Zones are expensive if your only visiting, £27 for two and a bit days, If you went for a week it would a lot to your break, for nothing in return. And there seems to be a lot of Traffic lights and roundabouts lol

Bristol is a great little city.
Bristol is a great little city. Nice to see some of the UK outside of London. Very close to Bath, Cardiff, and other interesting places to see. We stayed in Clifton which is a very charming little village just above the city center and very easy to get to. Parking is a bit of a challenge but we managed to figure it out quite quickly.

Bristol is a place with a lot of history & the S.S.
Bristol is a place with a lot of history & the S.S. Great Britain ship is well worth visiting. Clifton Bridge & its surrounding area is worth visiting too. Bristol though is the graffiti capital of Europe - sadly most of it has little artistic value and the city is definitively car unfriendly with so many road restrictions and cameras everywhere.
I stayed at this hotel during my wife's birthday. The staff were really friendly and helpful, a complimentary bottle of wine and chocolates were sent to our room on arrival with a lovely birthday card. The restaurant and the food were superb.
The bar staff were very accommodating and friendly. We had excellent room service and a truly wonderful stay. We will certainly stay at this hotel again next time we visit Bristol because of its grand interior, location to the waterfront and city centre. Strongly recommended.
There were luxurious added touches everywhere in The Bristol Hotel. The aroma as we entered the reception and the beautiful furniture made the start of our stay a lovely experience. The room had added touches of a coffee machine and the most comfortable bed with feature big lamps and a velvet throw. Bathrobes and slippers meant there was everything we could ask for. The location in the heart of great bars and tourist spots was wonderful together with friendly staff. Choose this hotel , you won't be disappointed.
On arrival I was greeted by the friendly and if I may say so gorgeous receptionist who was really helpful. I didn't quite catch her name.
The room was really comfortable and clean. The hotel is in a great location practically across from Temple Meads station. Bristol Harbour is about a 20 minute walk where there's some great bars and restaurants. Hotel breakfast was delicious, again friendly and helpful staff. Look forward to coming back again soon.
The location was great: walking distance from the train station. Towels and bedding were very good quality. The bed was comfortable and afforded us a restful night's sleep. Staff were helpful and pleasant....and breakfast was good. We appreciated the 2 large bottles of water in the room and that the restaurant was open for lunch at 3pm. This is the hotel we will choose when we return to Bristol.
This hotel is excellently located for Bristol City Centre with paid parking on site (£17 per day). Our room was big enough for our needs and comfortable (also clean). The check in was efficient and friendly, bar staff were lovely and very accommodating. The free wifi was sufficient for our needs (but not fast - paid add on available which is pretty gross but also unfortunately standard).
The room was huge and so was the bathroom. Great touches such as a bathrobe (only one but you can request more) slippers (one pair!) Complimentary bottles of water, biscuits. We happened to have a balcony, these are not as standard only corner rooms but lovely bonus even though it's overlooking very busy and noisy road. Hotel is very well located ,super covinient to access central Bristol.
cozy and close to the center hotel; staff was above the expectations. Hystorical site and close to all the Bristol attractions. Room was quiet altho is not soundproof. I did not check the breakfat but there are a lot of nice cafe 's close to the building. I was attending a fest held on Strange Brew club. 5 min walk.
I had a great stay at Leonardo hotel. It is well located for Bristol Temple Meads and access to the city centre (there are bus stops just by the hotel). The room was very comfortable, there was a great selection of breakfast items and staff were attentive. I'd recommend staying here.
Overall, the cleanliness was excellent, and the bed was comfortable. However, the sofa bed did not offer so much comfort. The toiletries, especially the shampoo and body shower offered, were fancy and very pleasant. This is a hotel focused on couples.
The welcome was great when we checked in. The room was big, comfortable and with a view to Bristol suspended bridge. Breakfast was yummy! And the hotel is 2min walk away from restaurants, bars, pubs and from Bristol London Bridge. Great location!
Stunning hotel. Lovely, friendly staff, beautiful big, stylish bedroom with absolutely stunning bathroom. Breakfast was superb. Close to the city centre, 5 minutes to the Watershed. Will definitely now only stay here on our trips to Bristol.
A heritage hotel which is a decent boutique hotel, very conveniently located in the city centre next to the hustle bustle Corn St. It is extremely quiet.
Breakfast room was nice, selection is alright, staff very friendly
Nice clean apartment with everything you need just outside the center of Bristol. Cheaper than most of the hotels and with a lot more space, utilities and comfort - ex: kitchen, bath, huge double bed, living room etc.
This hotel is in a great location for Bristol City Centre. Right opposite the Shopping Centre with lots of food outlets. Next door to large car park which is included. Comfortable room and large Queen beds.
probably the best Marriott hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Great room with a nice view. the breakfast was excellent and so was room service. I would stay at the hotel again if I visit Bristol in the future.
Breakfast & Breakfast staff were excellent - attentive & efficient
Room was very clean & well appointed, comfortable
Location of the the hotel is ideal for Bristol city Centre and local attractions
Very cozy with stunning views over Bristol. Amazing products in the bathroom, we fell in love with the 100 Acres brand. Delicious breakfast in the morning too.
