This location was everything I could've wished for! It was close to everything, the beach, train station, places to eat, etc. Also, the staff was super nice and eager to help.

The Vernazza room is exquisite! The painting on the ceiling made this a very memorable stay for us. Everything was spotlessly clean. Even though we showed up before check-in time, they had the room ready for us and allowed us in. They also helped coordinate hiking passes for us. As for the location, it was a very easy and scenic walk from the train station. We would love to stay here again.

The staff were great and the position was fantastic
Monterosso was the pick of Cinque for us. It’s very pretty, with clean streets and being flatter than the other villages has more spacious areas - so not so crowded. If you have heavy luggage there are many options of accommodation without dragging those cases uphill or up countless stairs. Lots of cafes and little shops and very nice beaches. The 5 Villages walk starts from here. It’s well worth doing at least some of the walk if you can as you can just get the train back or to the other villages if you opt out of ealking.

Beautiful place very good for reaching all the other cinque terra villages. Has a lovely beach front and a charming old town. Excellent train connection and reasonable boat trips too. Perfect holiday destination whatever you want to do. Walk the trails, lie on the beach. Visit local area by train and you certainly must try the ice cream in each town you visit.

The most amazing relaxing place to visit. Would highly recommend to anyone considering visiting to just do, you won’t regret it. Of all the Cinque Terra villages it’s definitely the best followed by Vernezza.

This was the best of our accommodations during our 2 week stay in Italy. Marta was amazing and provides shuttles and a good breakfast of granola, yogurt, fruit, pastries and even eggs, pancakes and cappuccino. The views were amazing and the rooms were very comfortable. I prefer a softer bed than what was in the room. However the pillows and linen were soft and comfortable.
Marta goes above and beyond what is necessary and always greeted us with a smile
I would definitely stay here again.
The b and b is up on a hill and a shuttle is provided but we walked back and forth without difficulty into the main part of town.

The hotel is really lovely and the views are unparalleled! Amazing views over the beach and Cinque Terre. The staff were very helpful and even helped us reserve a table at a restaurant. The garden area with chairs and loungers overlooking the view is gorgeous and a perfect place to enjoy an Aperol from the bar whilst waiting for the shuttle or after you've returned home in the evening. The shuttle bus service is so easy to use and always on time - you just have to be a little more organized than you usually would!
Well located near the best beach in Cinqueterre, this hotel puts you in the heart of the new side of Monterosso al Mare. The caring and friendly owners make sure you have everything you need for your Italian vacation. The shower is great, the bed is comfortable, and the room has everything that a traveler might need. I can see this being an outstanding hotel for a national park hiker. It is spotlessly clean. It was a great find and I was pleased to stay at the da Flo hotel
Breakfast was perfect! Location was not a problem for us since the hotel has its own shuttle bus/service car that takes you to the Monterosso beach entrance. All of the staff were very friendly. Anna even suggested routes to take to explore the Monterosso.
Manarola Village was the best amongst the 5 for me. Porto Venere, not one of the 5 villages, but we visited as recommended by Anna, and we loved it! One shouldn't miss this place when visiting Cinque Terre.
Even though there is no breakfast included, Federica still prepared bread and drinks in the morning which is really so nice of her! There's also free drinks on the mini bar in the room.
The room was big and the bed was so comfy. I should also mention that the interior of the room was great! Location is superb, just steps away from everything.
They also provided beach towels which is really good because being a beach bum, I can't resist swimming on the beach.
This place is amazing! The room was very nice and comfortable. The bed is the most comfortable I have ever slept on in all of Italy. Da Cesare is located in Monterosso's old town and is near many places to eat, shops, and the beach waterfront. They provided a very nice breakfast with coffee daily. The staff is very kind and also recommended places to eat and visit during our trip. This is truly an exceptional place to stay while visiting Cinque Terre!
This was one of our favourite hotels of our trip! It was a reasonably simple room, although the beds were the most comfortable ones we had stayed in and the only hotel who provided enough pillows! The location was also great, we were right in the middle of the old town in Monterosso, however the room was perfectly quiet and you couldn't hear anything from outside. The owners were very friendly and the room was cleaned perfectly each day.
very beautiful and clean Hotel in Monterosso. I really liked the position and surrounding - everything was green and you have a nice outlook from the room. Also its super comfortable when you travel by train, as it is very close to the railway station. My room was very nice, bright with big windows and balcony. I really loved it.
Also the breakfast is important to mention. I have never had such a good breakfast in Italy! Great!
We are glad we stayed in Monterosso, our stay was in April so not crazy busy with tourists. There are more choices of restaurants here. The hotel breakfast was very good choice of bacon, scrambled eggs, sausage, cakes, pastries, toast, fruit salad etc. We did book the smaller room which was fine, but if you are staying longer recommend booking a larger room. Staff very welcoming. Hotel central.
The location was in clean, more quiet spot in Monterosso, which, after visiting a few of the other towns, agreed was the best location in the Cinque Terre. The staff was thoughtful and kind. They let us keep our luggage at the hotel while we toured the area. The breakfast was plentiful and quite good, especially the artisan tarts. Our room for 4 people was a good size and was very clean.
The location was excellent. The check-in staff was friendly, efficient and offered good information. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I loved being able to borrow a Rick Steves travel book on the Cinque Terre from the bookshelf outside our room! Getting morning coffee next door and sitting by the water outside the hotel was especially memorable.
Big beautiful garden, very quiet and calm place to rest and enjoy with the view of the sea. If your room don't have sea view you can sit on the shared places in the garden. Monterosso is near, but steep. Sometimes we go on foot, but sometimes use hotel taxi service, which is included in the price. The car go up and down to the city few times a day. Good breakfast.
Perfect base for exploring Monterosso, as well as Cinque Terre on the whole. Less than a 5minute walk from the beach, there were plenty of restaurants near the hotel and an ideal playground within a 5 minute walk for our son to enjoy. Anyone who has kids, we would recommend this hotel.
Staff were very friendly and the breakfast buffet selection was fantastic.
Hotel is well situated in Monterosso in a very quiet street but very close to restaurants and the beach about an 8 minute walk from the train station. Breakfast is great with a man excellent choice, fantastic table of sweets stuff and cakes. Staff were amazing and so helpful. Lovely wee bar and you can take your drinks to the 4th floor gardens.
Super great location, sea view room is a must, especially with the balcony. One step out and you’re on the beach.
It has its own private beach which is cool, won’t get very crowded and it’s discounted price if you compare it to next door beach rentals. 25€ versus 38€
Even though I went through Booking.com, I was able to call the hotel and they were helpful with information about the lidos. The staff was completely friendly and it was a wonderful stay, right in the heart of Monterosso.
The hotel was right on the beach, with eateries, bars, ice cream stalls and gift shops all on the same street. It was only a few minutes walk from the Monterosso station too.
